    It would have made a great single a little later in the 70s. I think it was VERY adult-oriented for Pop radio in 1970.

    I liked this song more years ago....this is a nice refreshing mix. Dennis Coffey on guitars???

    I don't think it would have made for a hit single in its time... Shine On Me was already regulated to a B side. That was a wasted hit...perhaps Thank Him For Today or I Wish I Were Your Mirror should have been used as Stoned Love's B side...or even Loving Country from Right On.....TWCMSSM would have been my next choice for a single. Perhaps the company had great hopes for the Magnificent 7 LP providing another hit single and didn't want to oversaturate the market?
