Interesting link to feature on UK Tamla Motown Tour 1965.
Thank you...very interesting detail.
Thanks a million booty for publishing this wonderful review of the UK Tour. I intend to spend more time absorbing it all, however, I did discover that there is an inside link to the 1962 Reviews in the USA which I posted as a separate entity so nobody misses it.
Great job finding these features. Thanks again. It's an awesome amount to absorb.
That's a wonderful folio of photos; thanks for finding and posting!
Wow this is a great treat for holiday reading. Great gift
Thank you so much for sharing this.
I don't know about the afternoon show at the Finsbury Park Astoria. At the evening show, in the stalls where I was sitting, there weren't any empty seats.

This piece adds to the details of this thread.
Good stuff Larry I hadn’t seen those two shall I say historic transcripts before. I notice there is no reference to the names of the Funk Brothers!!!
Great book detailing the TMAS

Imagine if the. 1965 British TV Special, with Dusty Springfield, featuring. the Motown acts had been televised, just prior to the 1965 Tour.
Turnout would have been much better.
I viewed a latter TV clip about Dusty, who stated that she really liked the "diana" album with "Upside Down".
Yes it was a crazy decision to screen the TM show after the tour. It would have helped turnout if the artists had received the exposure. Maybe not a lot...but some exposure would have been beneficial.
