Legendary New York area DJ Danny Stiles has died at age 87. In the 60's, I listened to him spin all the latest soul hits on "The Kit Kat Club" on WNJR in Newark. In recent years he was on several NY/NJ stations playing big band and nostalgia. Always a great listen. RIP.

I remember Danny Stiles from the '50's and '60's on WNJR, New Jersey. He was one of the pioneer Disc Jockeys who played with a whole lot of soul. He will be missed.
