Diana Ross and the Supremes: The 1’s jumps up to No. 3 on the ITunes Top 200 R&B/Soul Chart. I wonder if this jump was caused by a certain TV appearance by a certain former member of a certain female group?

Yes they will. This is not unusual, except that it's Mary who sparked this. Usually when Diana has a high profile television appearance her albums and the Supremes albums see an uptick in sales. Mary usually doesn't have this kind of national exposure so she's proving that high profile appearances have a direct effect on sales of legendary music. This is great stuff. If someone could at least quickly put together a decent remaster of Mary's first album and get it out before the end of DWTS, she'd probably have a good chance of selling a nice amount of copies.
It takes several months to get a cd out there on the streets. Even if the licensing issues have already been cleared it would still take around a minimum of 3 months to get it into the stores and online. I am not sure how long DWTS is scheduled to run for as i never watch that type of programme, but it would be highly unlikely to see the album released this side of Christmas.
Stuff we have been working on for months, and in some cases years are still many months away from being released. It is very frustrating but that is the way the industry works.
