March Is National Women's History Month

I just want to take the time to acknowledge that the month of March is National Women's History Month.

I will be doing a show dedicated to National Women's History Month next Thursday evening. I will post the info next week on the main forum under "Today On WHPK." I hope you will be tuning in. Thanks !

Great idea for your show, GeeTee. I'm all over Women's History Month every year with my radio station's broadcasts.
This year is no less a treat...

It has become quite common in America to set aside some time whether it be a day, a week or a month to focus on the contributions and achievements of a variety of
previously oppressed or disenfranchised groups or peoples and women certainly qualify
despite both their sharing the same humanity as men and the sociological selective
amnesia of some of us...I cannot think of anywhere in the world women haven't been historically exploited even in places where one may be "Queen"... but have a nice day and all that...
