One report has it that he played a gig the night before in Dunedin, Florida.

I saw Eddie at the Chunky Rhythm and Blues Festival in 88.....didn't know about his Detroit connection until years later.

I hadn't seen a scarf tied like that since 63.

He put on a solid show of the real deal......left it all on stage......and drove off in a station wagon packed to the gills.

As he disappeared in the woods, my friend said...."Now That's a BLUESMAN!"
