Has anyone talked to Flo Ballard's daughters about Diana Ross' 75th birthday?

Has anyone visited/saw the Ballard daughters recently about the star-studded birthday of Diana Ross?

Apart from the obvious "I wish Flo lived to be 75", did they congratulate her or are they very sad/mad about it? Or did they not care at all? Maybe it was combination of the obvious of the latter 3 and the obvious?

Anyone who saw the daughters of Florence Ballard and asked about Diana Ross "Diamond Diana" birthday let me know.

She didnt say that. she said she has no idea where Cindy is to avoid discussing Cindys health in a las vegas showroom. She does know where Cindy is and is very good to Cindy Birdsong. She said "I don't stay in contact with Mary Wilson" that night as well. Stop stirring stuff up.

Diana has not performed with Florence Ballard since 1967. By my quick calculation that's 52 years ago. Florence's children were born after her being a Supreme. Logically speaking [[as if ...) why would Ballard's children be involved with, or contacted about, Diana Ross's birthday [[whether they were or not)?

I have to disagree with that. But it honestly does not answer why Florence's children would be involved; I would hope that they have developed independent, productive and happy lives in the many decades that have passed since Florence's untimely death. My guess from the beginning of your post was that it was not at all meant to honor Florence or her children but rather to troll someone else. Which does nothing good to honor Florence or her children. Best wishes to you!

As soon as I saw the title of this thread my gut feeling was that the thread was a troll. Turns out to be exactly that. The posters who claim to be Florence fans pretty much never post anything positive about her or her children; their threads are usually tragedy-porn, thinly-veiled attempts to ... troll. I saw the Central Park event in a theater last night and it was WONDERFUL to experience it again; I bring this up only to point out that since about January 1970 [[if not before) the Diana Deniers have dedicated their lives to discrediting Ross, and as this most recent event [[the theater showings of the concert) proves: they have utterly failed. I do wish them well, though, and hope that at some point in their lives they find something more productive to do with their time.

Florence had nothing to do with Diana being a supreme. Florence only became a member of the group because her sister was dating Milton Jenkins…… It’s not like he even knew who flow was before then. Diana and Flo met at the first group meeting. For girls showed up, they harmonized well and he decided to use them as his group known as the primettes. had Diana or Florence not come to that meeting, some other girl would’ve taken their place. Flo was just a member nothing more or nothing less. And the first record they put out, had an a side by Diana at B-side by Mary and no leads by flo. I really do miss Flo

I considered several versions of my patently cogent [[yet pithy) replies but then had a moment of empathy for the Diana Deniers. It's been a rough several years for them, the last 3 months in particular having proven that their lives misspent by trying to revise the story of Diana's success have proven to be an utter and complete failure. So I wish them well and sincerely hope they find something positive in their futures.

That's why sometimes I say "f the Supremes" because their fans can't seem to get a damn grip on the subject be it a Diana fan, a Mary fan or a Flo fan. Just cool it!
