Freddi Poole comes to mind:
The Delicates
Wild Honey
FLOS
The Three Degrees
I know there are plenty of others.

I would guess Barbara English.
She was a member of The Gospelettes, The Bouquets, The Ding Dongs, The Avalons[[mixed group?), The Clickettes all in the 1950s and early '60s, and also sang with The Fashions in the early and mid '60s, and sang solo as Barbara Jean English [[sometimes with girls groups backing her) in the later mid and late '60s. She also sang solo in the 1970s and 1980s.

Ding Dongs? Omg! Was Sandra Tilley 3 groups? Cindy Birdsong...Del Capris/Ordertes, Bluebelles, Supremes, FLOS

Although she was not officially a member of all the groups she recorded under their names, I would have said Darlene Love. I have to go with what Robb said though.
Maybe Brenda Holloway [[of all people) was in the most. She was in The Watesians, Carrolls, Four Js, Wooden Nickles, Belles, Secrets and Sequins. I don't have The Sequins, but have all the rest of Brenda's non-Motown releases. All of these groups had at least 2, if not 3 of Patrice Holloway, Pat Hunt, and/or Shirley Matthews, along with Brenda.
So, that is 7 groups.

Robb is the SOURCE!!!!
Great question!
Sunday Tucker:
The Ordettes [[later Patti LaBelle & the Bluebelles)
Cindy Scott & The Cousins
The Three Degrees
Third Generation [[later Wonderlove)
Former Ladies of The Supremes
was also in Ernie Terrell & The Heavyweights [[mixed group) and did back ups for Gladys Horton's Marvelettes in the 80s
Vermettya Royster:
The Clara Ward Singers
The Raelets
The Ikettes
Sisters Love
The Chocolate Kisses
New Spirit
OMG! Disco Tex and The Sex-O-Lettes…..I haven't heard of that in decades! A titch over the top! LOL!
The Sex-O-Lettes group included Bob Crewe, Cidny Bullens [[formerly known as Cindy Bullens), Kenny Nolan and Sir Monti Rock III.
Peggy Santiglia[[Angels)-Delicates, Dusk, Jessica James and the Outlaws, Angels, Serendipity Singers
That's right TT they only did the one song. Just like the Blossoms, Brenda & Patrice and many others they would go into the studio where they were hired as session singers and then the tracks would be released under made up names. So in reality a lot of these girl groups were only on recordings and were not real groups per-say. I spoke to Brenda once and played her The Belles, The Wooden Nickles, The Ikettes [[Phil-Dan) and The Secrets 45s. She told me she did not really recall recording these records and that over the years they had done a lot of session work.
