Oh Wow. Marv I've not seen these in years. I could only been a skinny little 8 year old kid when these were aired in the UK. Thanks for bringing back the memories.
The cartoons are also available on dvd McMotown. Looks like the price has gone up over the years. When the set was first released I don't remember it being so costly. I planned to purchase one but it wasn't a priority because I already have most of them on a vhs I recorded from TV.
Aaaahhh, those carefree, fun days of the early 1970s. Remember the records on the back of the cereal boxes? Wish I'd have kept mine!
Lockhartgary, I was going to mention that. I use to make my Mom Alphabets so that I could cut out the record on the back. They had a couple by the Archies too. She'd get mad when she'd catch me putting them on her "good Stereo" to play them LOL! My favorite cereal record was "I Bet Ya" by the Jackson 5.
I never cared for that cartoon,of course by that time i was a little old for cartoons.
Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa..yeah but nobody in the hood was gonna watch the beatles, well at least nobody would admit to it,hehehehehehe!!
We even went to the movies to see "HELP!" LOL
I never knew their was a Beatles cartoon earlier.
Not that I care about the Beatles. My brother in-law was into the Beatles and Wings, but he never did have any taste in music.
The Beatles cartoon from 1965 aired on ABC and looked like this:
