That Motown writer William Weatherspoon was the elder brother of actor/comedian John Witherspoon [[who changed his name for show biz)! I also found out that Lamont Dozier is a relative of theirs as well.

There's also Cato Weathersooon who co wrote THE JUDGE'S DAUGHTER for the Originals on CELLARFUL VOLUME 3. I just found out they were his brothers last year. I watched an interview with John Witherspoon and he referred to his brothers working at Motown. Then he said something about being from Detroit. Then I started putting two and two together. Then looked on Wikipedia.
