I find it fascinating that the GOP is... well, trying to figure out what to do with their Pro-Life agenda. For decades they told themselves, and convinced themselves that being anti-abortion was a winning ticket, but now it causes them to lose elections. Voters are telling them to stay out of their lives. Just what are they to do? Their war on culture satisfies their base and no one else. The truth is that most people don't mind being aware. They don't see drag queens as an evil plight upon the land the same way social conservatives do. A large majority of Americans don't see gay people as a threat, the Gen Z group especially, most of whom simply don't have an issue with gender. Conservatives are anti-vax. I've said it before, I have no problem with them dying because they refused to get a shot. The truth is that Conservatives have by tying their own noose for decades without understanding how out of touch they were with America, and now they're panicking because the floor is beginning to drop our from under their tiny little feet.

For those who didn't know it, Trump was at a football game in Iowa yesterday and got his Orange Anus booed. I'm sure he was outraged. He desperately needs the loyalty of his cult to at least get the GOP nomination. The longer he and his cult foist his evilness upon the public, the worse it will be for Republicans.

And, of course, a new week means more political shenanigans by the Republicans. Over the weekend, just in case some of you missed it, Marjorie Taylor Dumb Ass has now said that the House might want to slow down their impeachment proceedings against Biden even though he has done nothing impeachable. Remember, their strategy has always been to be on the offense, even if they need to create fictional crimes. the proverbial dead horse. The truth is that impeaching Biden for nothing would actually help Biden in his re-election campaign, while heaping additional hurt onto the GOP is beyond their ken. Their sole intention is to try and make Biden look worse than Trump, a completely unachievable goal. Me? I'm gleefully hoping they proceed.

Am I the only one laughing at Kev McCarthy's faux impeachment [[inquiry?) This man is a wishy-washy incompetent. A political failure, he needed to promise the Freedom Caucus he would do whatever they wanted in order to get their votes to become Speaker of the House. Both Trump and the Freedom Caucus are interested in retaliation, so even though they will never get the votes to impeach they will "investigate." Nancy Mace gave a funny interview in which she said that they have no evidence of a crime, but they're hoping this impeachment process will provide them with the details they know do not exist. This will keep their base happy while American watches the Do Nothing Party, do just that, Nothing.

It’s no surprise that Inmate# P01135809 pushed the GOP wingnuts in Congress to open an impeachment inquiry into President Biden, but it looks like the Inmate is actually going to help the president.
In January 2020, the Inmate# P01135809-led Justice Department formally declared that impeachment inquiries by the House are invalid unless the chamber takes formal votes to authorize them.
And they don’t have the votes, just like they have no actual proof of any impeachable offense.
    GOP Clown Car.
For well over an hour at a recent town meeting, the people of Llano, Texas spoke out against abortion. See, even though abortion is illegal across Texas, people were still driving women on Llano roads to reach clinics in other states and Llano residents said their city had a responsibility to “fight the murders.”
Howsabout this people of Llano? You don’t own the roads; they are state roads and as such you cannot decide who drives on them. So why not go home, thump your Bibles and shut the fuck up.
PS A journalist ought to investigate how many women in Llano have had abortions.
The man wears high heels, makeup, a girdle, refers to his hair as strawberry blonde, and lies about his height and weight.
All we have to do is get him to read a book to children and he’ll be kicked out of Florida.
Rudy Giuliani, who finished another week whining and complaining about being charged as a coconspirator to Inmate # P01135809, and shrieking about being broke, has apparently purchased a massive new ring for his longtime girlfriend Maria Ryan. Ryan has been linked to Drunkle Rudy since 2018 after being named as his mistress in court documents filed amid his divorce from third wife Judy Nathan.
Most newspapers are quick to point out that the ring is worth an estimated $60,000 … “if real.”
I’m thinking the gem is as real as his hair color.

And speaking of "will wonders never cease?" Aileen Cannon, Trump's ace judge in the hole, decided against him, telling him he could not set up a special "confidential area" in Mar a Lago to study and review the classified documents he stole. That's right! She rebuffed him! Where is her loyalty! Doesn't she know she only has one purpose, to insure he stays out of jail? My feeling on this: One of her Federalist cohorts took her aside and said "Tootsie, look how the Orange Anus is destroying the Republican Party! He will do that to us, unless we unite to stop him." Poor Donnie, it looks like someone has left his cake out in the rain.

John Fetterman, Democratic Senator from Pennsylvania, on the House Republicans and their threats to impeach President Biden:
“Go ahead, do it. I dare you. If you can find the votes, go ahead, because you’re going to lose. It’s a loser. It would be just like a big circle jerk on the fringe right. Sometimes you just gotta call their bull shit.”
We need more Democrats standing up and calling the GOP out for their riduclous impeachment nonsense.
Remind the country that statements aren’t fact, and theories aren’t evidence and the GOP is just a hypocritical do-nothing clown car.
Ron DeSantis, once again proving he’s a dangerous hate-filled racist lunatic:
“You have to identify them as being hostile. I mean, if there’s a woman with a baby, they are not a cartel member. There’s not going to be authorization to just shoot somebody like that. But when somebody’s got a backpack on and they’re breaking through the wall, you know that that’s hostile intent, and you have every right to take action under those circumstances. And if you—guess what? You do that a few times, the times are a-changing, they will have to respond to that.”
Yes, a man running to be the President of the United States says he wants to shoot men with backpacks because they’re probably members of a drug cartel.
    He advocates murder.
Lindsey Graham, South Carolina’s Miss Peach Queen 1947 and its GOP Senator, on the news that a Georgia grand jury had voted to recommend charges for him for interfering with the 2020 election result:
“What I did was consistent with my job as being a U.S. senator, chair of the Judiciary Committee. I think the system in this country is getting off the rails and we have to be careful not to use the legal system as a political tool. I never suggested anybody set aside the election. I never said, ‘go find votes.’ I never said anything other than trying to find how the mail-in balloting system worked. The case will move forward without me. If it ever becomes impossible or politically dangerous or legally dangerous for a United States senator to call up people to find out how the election was wrong, God help us all. The next election, if I have questions, I’ll do the same thing.”
It's like my Nana used to say, “You can’t teach an old confirmed bachelor [[self-loathing closeted homosexual) a new trick.”
He doesn’t get that what happens in Georgia ain’t none of his business.
Tim Scott, South Carolina GOP Senator and presidential wannabe, fighting rumors he’s as gay as Miss Lindsey by, well, read it:
“I have a wonderful girlfriend, and we have a wonderful relationship. The good news is that God has blessed me with a smart, Christian woman. That’s great news, but more importantly is, why are the headlines there? The headlines are there because as I rise in the polls, as people show up at night in my town halls, it scares even my opponents.”
Um, what’s her name, Timmy? Do you have a photo? Why hasn’t she ever been seen before?
Scott has preached for abstinence before marriage and earlier this year dodged a Washington Post question over whether he remains a virgin.
    Uh huh.
Coco Gauff, winner of the 2023 US Open, putting everything into perspective when asked about her struggles in tennis:
“There are real people struggling to feed their families. There are people who don’t know where their next meal is going to come from; people who have to pay their bills. That’s real pressure. That’s real hardship. That’s real life.”
That’s one smart, talented young woman.

So, I suppose every one of you has seen the still shots and videos of Lauren Boebert's adventure at the theater in Denver by now. I don't doubt that in her mind she's a Christian and that she asks for forgiveness every day. What hooey. If you search, you can find them, and watch them if you want. There's one where her current boyfriend is feeling her up and it's graphic, no subtlety there, nor is there any subtlety when she's rubbing his crotch. And yes, she did lie about vapping because there's a video of her sitting in her theater seat blowing out a plume of smoke. The ugly truth is, pathetically, that Republicans in Colorado will vote for her because it's better to have a loser like her in Congress than a Democrat.

No one tell Republicans that if they do succeed in removing Biden from office…
…we’ll get the nation’s first black female president.
    Let it be a surprise.

    Why is it......
… that some people spend all of their time complaining about their lives when there are literally millions of people living in Florida?
… that my therapist told me “write letters to people you hate and then burn them"? I did all that, but now I don’t know what to do with the letters.
… that not one of the Oathkeepers ever realized that they worship a guy who has never kept an oath in his life?

… that you can’t fix stupid, but you can sell it a red hat?

Well, Honey…Lie Down With Dogs, etc., etc.

    SEPTEMBER 16, 2023
    From The Hill:
Former Trump attorney Jenna Ellis appears to have turned on the former president, saying she can’t back him again for the 2024 election after supporting him in his previous two campaigns.
“I know [Trump] well as a friend and a former boss, I have great love and respect for him personally,” Ellis said on her radio show Thursday. “I simply can’t support him for elected office again. Why I have chosen to distance is because of that frankly malignant, narcissistic tendency to say that he’s never done anything wrong.”
Ellis is one of 18 people charged alongside Trump in a sprawling Georgia racketeering case over claims the former president led an attempt to overturn the state’s 2020 election results. Ellis represented the Trump campaign in legal challenges to 2020 results across the country.
She insulted Trump before the 2016 election, calling him an “idiot” and a “bully” before turning face and backing his 2016 and 2020 campaigns. Since being indicted in Georgia, she has complained that the president has not offered to cover the defendants’ legal fees.
In the radio show, first reported by Media Matters, Ellis also went after Trump supporters. She said they are practicing “idolatry” and are putting Trump ahead of their real values.
She said she chose to distance herself from Trump due to “some of the total idolatry that I’m seeing from some of his supporters that are unwilling to put the Constitution and the country and the conservative principle above their love of a star.”

“It is really troubling, and I think we do need to as Americans and as conservatives and particularly as Christians, take this very seriously and understand where are we putting our vote,” she continued.
Ellis has admitted to misrepresenting claims about 2020 election fraud, including accepting a legal censure from the Colorado State Bar, but has defended her actions.
“The Democrats and the Fulton County DA are criminalizing the practice of law. I am resolved to trust the Lord,” she wrote when she was arrested last month.

Ladies and Gentleladies, The Fondler and The Adulterer, Your Family Values Republicans

By now you’ve all heard the tale of Colorado GOP Representative Lauren Boebert, er, Groper and her Night at the Theater, but if not, let’s recap …
Little Miss Family Values … whose mother got knocked up with Little Lauren while she was in high school and who grew up to get knocked up with her son while she was in high school who grew up to knock up his girlfriend while he was in high school …. was kicked out of a “Beetlejuice” musical play in Denver over the weekend for acting like a self-entitled escort.
A theater spokesperson, while not naming Boebert, said that the video—which showed Boebert and her “date” being escorted out of the venue—was of guests who were kicked out after audience members accused them of vaping, singing, using phones and causing a disturbance. Boebert’s campaign manager confirms the Congressperson was kicked out but that Boebert denies she was vaping. Boebert and the other guest left, but not before she flipped off the ushers and asked the staff:

“Do you know who I am?”
Boebert, in her second term in Congress and running for reelection, has built a national profile with a combative media-whoring style that’s grabbed media headlines, was just vaping, and singing and using her phone …
That same video that shows all of that going on and shows Boebert responding to a woman sitting behind her, also shows the conservative family values not-yet-divorced woman’s date fondling he breasts during the performance while she shoved her hand between his legs and fondled him. Boebert, while not admitting to the mutual grope fest, has blamed the entire thing on, wait for it, her ongoing divorce.
Best of all, is that Boebert, who is anti-LGBTQ+ and anti-drag, and once famously Tweeted out …

“Don’t take your kids to a drag show, take them to church.”
… was fondling and being fondled by Quinn Gallagher, a Democrat :::gasp::: and bar owner who often holds :::gasp::: drag shows at his venue.
So, while we now know Boebert had no morals, we have also been given proof she has no principles.

And now to rightwingnut MAGAt and Mr-Former-Fake-One-Term-Twice-Impeached-Currently-Four-Time-Criminally-Indicted-Not-My-President-Gurl [h/t to Randy Rainbow] South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem who is angling to become the Vice President should Inmate # P01135809 run for and win the presidency in 2024.
Noem, who like Boebert, is an anti-LGBTQ+, anti-women’s rights, anti-history teaching, book banning, climate denying gun toting Republican, is also, again perhaps like Boebert, an adulterer, as it has been revealed that she and former Inmate # P01135809 advisor Corey Lewandowski have been having “a years-long clandestine affair.”
Noem, another Family Values politician, has been married to her spouse Byron Noem for more than 30 years, while Lewandowski has been married to his wife Alison for more than 15 years.
At an NRA forum earlier this year, Noem touted her relationship with her husband and her family values during a speech stating:

“Here today with me is my husband Bryon, who has been with me every step of the way. Thank you for our amazing family and all the support. Speaking of family… can you believe I’m a grandma? Not just once either, but twice. For those of you with grandchildren you know, they are why we get up each day and continue to fight for our values.”
No word on if Lewandowski was there to service her after that lovely little lie of a speech.
Of note is that neither Noem nor Lewandowski denied the affair when questioned by the media, though Noem’s people questioned the timing of the story—you know, cuz it came out as she was dropping to her knees before Inmate # P01135809 to secure the Veep spot—and Lewandowski isn’t talking.
Good old Republican family values; do as we say not as we do.

I can't believe I have to write about this, but the more Goooooooooogle hits anything about Lauren Boebert giving a handjob at Beetlejism Bettlejuice.

Granted, it's a musical, so I mean, you gotta do something to stay entertained, but still.........

This is a twat [[ did not use the 'c' word, though I really really wanted to), who said kids shouldn't see drag performance, though her then husband exposed himself to underaged girls at a bowling ally.

....and now she's vaping where she shouldn't be and stroking some guy off in a theater filled with people. I don't even think there was a guise of a popcorn box with a hole in the bottom.

The absolute favourite thing about this though? The guy is a democrat, who owns a gay bar that has drag performances.

    H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-E. Her and him.

I read a headline [[you know I'm not clicking on a video news story) where this "twat" apologizes. She only did this because video surfaced of her doing the deed. Before that it was a "don't you know I am" moment. Allegedly the theater manager did know and didn't care. Bully for him.

Since most of her constituents are vaping masturbator theater goers, it won't affect her in the slightest. ...and that might be the bigger shame.

And, as expected, there is still blowback coming from Republicans about the informal dress code. Susan Collins began threatening to wear a bikini. Someone should take her aside and let her know that there's a difference between Fetterman in his hoodies and shorts and her fat ass and her floppy boobies. Sadly, she feels her absurdity will make a point, and in her own true Susan Collins style she's failing.

Not surprising, the hard core right wing of the Republican party in the House of Representatives is going to screw over, [[are you ready for this?) their own party. Newt Gingrich has groomed the Just Say No party extremely well. Kev McCarthy, in an unusual moment, stated that this will hurt the party more than it will the Biden administration. However, Newty did his doody well and taught them to be extremists; unless you get your demands, Just Say No. This is like watching a tank of toothless piranhas gnaw each other to death.

When auto CEOs say they can't afford to pay their workers more money remember that the Big Three automakers have made $250 billion in profits the past decade and have spent $66 billion on stock buybacks and dividends.
It’s not that there isn’t money for raises and bonuses, it’s that the rich want to get richer while their employees suffer.
The irony of the Hunter Biden gun charge is that the firearm application only exists because he purchased the gun from a federally-licensed firearms dealer, which actually conducts a background check.
You know, those same background checks that Republicans don’t think you should undergo to own a gun.
Lauren Boebert Groper says it’s over between her and the guy who gave a handie to during a matinee performance of Beetlejuice because he’s a Democrat.
I think it’s because he forgot to leave twenty dollars on the nightstand before he left.
Mr-Former-Fake-One-Term-Twice-Impeached-Currently-Four-Time-Criminally-Indicted-Not-My-President-Gurl’s former attorney, Rudy Giuliani was sued this by his onetime lawyers who claim he owes them $1.36 million in unpaid legal fees.
Looks like Rudy might wanna return the cubic zirconia he bought for his mistress-turned-fiancée last week. Even the sixty bucks he gets for it might help.

And Tommy Tuberville, the Louisiana senator who doesn't live in the state he represents got his comeuppance yesterday, and what a joy it was to behold. You see Tommy's been holding up military promotions because he's a hard line anti-abortionist who doesn't like the Department of Defense's health policies for women. He's held up over 300 promotions because he thought every Republican senator had his back. Well, yesterday he discovered otherwise. In a vote of 83 for and 11 against, the Senate approved a new Joint Chief of Staff, the guy over the Army, Navy, Air Force, and the Marines. The idea that 32 Republican senators would vote against his blockade was something Tommy never thought would happen. This was a serious smackdown for the anti-abortion hardliners, and one more example of how much those 11 dissenters, including Tommy, are out of touch with America. Could it be that some members of the Republican party are realizing that they need to reconnect with America? I don't know if I'd go that far.

Jeanine Pirro, Fox News’ Otis the Drunk, on the news that a Patriots fan died after a stadium melee with Dolphins fans:

“In this world today, we’re all winners, okay? No one is being taught that, you know, that there’s a winner and there’s a loser. Everybody is a winner, everybody gets a trophy, that’s what’s going on in schools today. It’s almost like, then you go to a game and there really are losers. And it’s amazing that people who don’t even have skin in the game, they’re not even a part of the team, they’ve become so outraged that they are willing to kill somebody. And we shouldn’t have to see stabbings and beatings that end up in a homicide at a sporting event where people supposedly, as you say, go to forget their problems and to join other people ... [We] are in a world where there is a lack of civility, there is a lack of consequence, there is a lack of law enforcement. There is chaos and anarchy. There is no law and order anymore.”
This woman needs to a take a breathalyzer before opening her chardonnay-infused yap because the ignorance should be illegal.
PS Aunt Boozehound? No law and order hit a peak when your boy sent a mob to the capitol to try and overthrow an election.
Lauren Boebert Groper, lying about vaping in a theater … lying about taking photos in a theater … lying about singing loudly in a theater … lying about being groped in a theater … and lying about stroking her date’s dick in a theater, and blaming it on her divorce that she filed:

“The past few days have been difficult and humbling, and I’m truly sorry for the unwanted attention my Sunday evening in Denver has brought to the community. While none of my actions or words as a private citizen that night were intended to be malicious or meant to cause harm, the reality is they did and I regret that. There’s no perfect blueprint for going through a public and difficult divorce, which over the past few months has made for a challenging personal time for me and my entire family. I’ve tried to handle it with strength and grace as best I can, but I simply fell short of my values on Sunday. That’s unacceptable, and I’m sorry. Whether it was the excitement of seeing a much-anticipated production or the natural anxiety of being in a new environment, I genuinely did not recall vaping that evening when I discussed the night’s events with my campaign team while confirming my enthusiasm for the musical. Regardless of my belief, it’s clear now that was not accurate; it was not my or my campaign’s intention to mislead, but we do understand the nature of how this looks. We know we will have to work to earn your trust back and it may not happen overnight, but we will do it. I’m deeply thankful to those in the 3rd District who have defended me and reached out this week and offered grace and support when I needed it the most. I’ve learned some humbling lessons these past few days but I vow moving forward, I will make you proud.”
As you can see, she’s only sorry she got busted for being a pathological liar and not for behavior that, as many pointed out, would have spawned countless outraged cultist headlines and hissy fits had it been a prominent LGBTQ person or a Democrat.
    Fuck off, escort.
Ron DeSantis, leaping on the biggest “story” in right wing media today. Which is what clothes John Fetterman wears to work:.

“He wears like sweatshirts and hoodies and shorts, and that’s his thing. So he would campaign in that—which is your prerogative, right? I mean, if that’s what you want to do. But to show up in the United States Senate with that and not have the decency to put on proper attire? I think it’s disrespectful to the body, and I think the fact that the Senate changed the rules to accommodate that I think speaks very poorly to how they consider that. Look, we need this country, we need to be lifting up our standards in this country. Not dumbing down our standards in this country and this is an example why.”
I was going to say something but then Fetterman beat me to it:

    “I dress like he campaigns.”
Snap. But then he also added:

“[Aren't] aren’t there more important things we should be talking about rather than if I dress like a slob?”
Okay, I will say this: I don’t think Mister Go-go boots should be talking fashion.
Jenna Ellis, traitor to America on January 6, still pissed about Inmate # P01135809’s lack of cash for her defense, now coming out against her former boss:

“I know him well as a friend, as a former boss, I have great love and respect for him personally. But everything that you just said resonates with me as exactly why I simply can’t support him for elected office again. Why I have chosen to distance is because of that, frankly, malignant narcissistic tendency to simply say that he’s never done anything wrong. And the total idolatry that I’m seeing from some of the supporters that are unwilling to put the Constitution and the country and the conservative principles above their love for a star is really troubling. And I think that we do need to, as Americans and as conservatives and particularly as Christians, take this very seriously and understand where are we putting our vote.”
Too little, too late, you little traitorous prom queen. You’re only saying this because he hasn’t hired you a lawyer or paid for your bond or taken you to McDonald’s for a post-arraignment Big Mac.
    Sorry, not sorry, Jenna.

Ana Navarro, The View co-host, blasting Lauren Groper and others in the GOP for their Family Values hypocrisy:

“No [Bobo], you weren’t eccentric. You were X-rated! This was not a performance of Fifty Shades Of Grey, it was a performance of Beetlejuice. This weekend I was reading all this stuff and I was thinking to myself, ‘it’s like Republicans gone wild. You’ve got this woman—Boebert—getting kicked out because she was getting fondled in the middle of a matinee. Then you’ve got Kristi Noem, the governor of [South] Dakota, who’s allegedly in an affair with Corey Lewandowski, who’s also married—both of them are. Then you’ve got [Mr-Former-Fake-One-Term-Twice-Impeached-Currently-Four-Time-Criminally-Indicted-Not-My-President-Gurl … hat tip to Randy Rainbow], who’s like 50 points ahead of everybody else. Cheated on his first wife with a second, on the second with the third, on the third with a stripper and a Playboy Bunny, who they had to pay hush money to. I’ll tell you what the problem with all of this is. It’s the hypocrisy! The hypocrisy of it all! God forbid a child see the fake boobies of a drag queen. Apparently, the fake boobies of a trash queen are OK.”
This latest bit of hypocrisy from the GOP proves that saying that every GOP accusation is an admission of guilt, because, look around, it’s not Democrats giving hand jobs in the theater, or cheating on their spouses for decades, or cheating on their three different spouses.

And Chaos? Thy name is Republican, especially under the inept leadership of Kev McCarthy. For those who haven't been paying attention, the country is going to reach it's debt ceiling in 8 days and those ill mannered, squabbling Republicans in the House of Representatives cannot get their shit together. Instead of working together to try and solve the problems they're creating, they went home. That's right, they're taking the weekend off. One of the funniest things I saw was a Republican congressman criticizing Kev by saying, "you know, Nancy Pelosi would have whipped those vote together."

Tamie Wilson Has Words For Lauren Groper

Tamie Wilson, running for Congress from Ohio and hoping to unseat Jim Gym Jordan, offers a scathing take on Lauren Boebert Groper. And I am here for it so let’s rip …

Lauren Boebert, I’m not holding back anymore. As a woman running for Congress I want to say one thing: You are a disgrace. But not for a reason you might think.
I don't care that you choose the life of a desperate drunk sorority springbreaker falling out of your string bikini hoping to get attention. I care that you stand against women making their own choices, while making disgusting choices for yourself.
You CONSISTENTLY vote against measures protect women's rights: Paycheck Fairness Act, which would help to ensure that women are paid equally for equal work Violence Against Women Act, which provides critical funding for programs that support victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
As a woman in Congress, you stood on the shoulders of GIANTS to get there: Colorado gained the right of women to hold public office in 1877 after a long FIGHT. In fact Colorado was the second state to allow women to vote in 1893, despite pushback from right-wingers like you.
The victories in Colorado paved the way for the passage of the 19th Amendment, which granted women the right to vote throughout the United States in 1920... And what do you do with the power they fought for?
You've become the very first United States Congresswoman to vape in a theater, perform lewd acts in front of kids there to see an entirely different show, try to stuff body parts back into your dress as decent people kick your bird-flipping nastiness out...
Just as they will in 2024. You're Jim Jordan in lipstick.
    A

So, is the government going to shut down? There's a good possibility it might happen. If it does, guess who looks bad to Independent voters? Not the Democrats. Nope. Democrats are just sitting on their hands waiting for it to happen. They don't even have to point their fingers. Thank you Main Stream media. It will be interesting to see how Fox handles it if it happens.

Oh, and Rupert Murdoch is stepping down. Supposedly there's so much bad blood in that family. Conservatives are actually saying that Lachlan Murdoch is actually Woke, whatever the hell that is. Another supposedly is that Rupert wishes Trump would die. Now. I suspect because backing him has cost Fox sooooo much money. While I can't be certain, I say that, just supposedly, that might be the main reason Rupert is stepping down. His decision to back the Spawn of Satan, Donald Trump, has cost the network dearly, and the expenses have not stopped. There are other lawsuits approaching faster than the $$$ are flying out of the Fox bank account.

    Food For Thought

Sixpence Notthewiser, AKA Six, at [[LO) IMPRESCINDIBLE posted something similar a couple of weeks back, but I also want to make this clear as we settle in for the long haul toward a Presidential Election which may be a rematch between two old white guys.
Some say Biden, at 81, is too old, though Mr-Former-Fake-One-Term-Twice-Impeached-Currently-Four-Time-Criminally-Indicted-Not-My-President-Gurl is just three years younger. But take age out of it, and see who accomplished the most.
    First up, Inmate # P01135809 …

—did not get the wall built and did not get Mexico to pay for it
—played gold nearly every weekend even as 1,400,000+ Americans were dying of COVID.
    —never passed an infrastructure bill.
    —never overturned ObamaCare.
—never revealed his own healthcare plan.
—gave a huge tax break to the 1% that will stand for years while the paltry tax break he gave to the rest of us will expire soon.
—who, try as he might, lie as he might, rage as he might, did not destroy this country on January 6, 2021.
Joe, on the other hand did this …

—1,106 insurrectionists, including Inmate # P01135809, were charged.
—the American Rescue Plan with $1.9 trillion for COVID relief and $1,400 stimulus checks for Americans.
—expanded child tax credit reducing child poverty by 50%.
—signed a Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill and The Inflation Reduction Act with $2.2T investment in water pipes, passenger and freight rail, roads and bridges, and high-speed internet, broadband, drinking water, western water storage, public transit, airports; record investment in clean energy to cut carbon in half by 2030, carbon neutral by 2050.
[—negotiated for lower Medicare prescription drugs, including a $35 cap on insulin.
—the CHIPS and Science Act which saw a $280B investment in America's tech manufacturing.
—the Respect for Marriage Act; he repealed the Defense of Marriage Act; now all states must recognize same-sex marriage, plus federal protections if Obergefell is repealed.
—the Electoral Count Reform Act which strengthens & clarifies the process for counting electoral votes, and will prevent another January 6 .
—lead the way on defending Ukraine from Russian aggression.
—The PACT Act which expands healthcare for military veterans, including soldiers exposed to toxic burn pits
—record job creation: 3.8% unemployment. More than 13 million jobs created. More Americans are working than at any point in history.
—750,000 new manufacturing jobs and a $15 minimum age for federal workers and contractors.
    —a 79% vaccination rate.
—Inflation reduced from 9% to 3% on its way to 2%.
    —Gas prices lowered.
    —DJIA: 34,000+
—16M Americans enrolled in ACA health insurance policies.
—Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, the first major piece of gun safety legislation in three decades.
—narrowed the "boyfriend loophole" to keep guns out of the hands of convicted dating partners.
—funded crisis interventions, including extreme risk protection order ["red flag"] laws; making significant investments to address the mental health crisis in America, including in our schools.
—clarified who needs to register as a federally licensed gun dealer and run background checks before selling a single weapon.
—made gun trafficking and straw purchases distinct federal crimes.
—pardoned all prior federal offenses of simple marijuana possession and urged governors to do the same.
—Signed Executive Orders to protect access to reproductive health care, including abortion and contraception, and safeguard patient privacy.
—nominated and the Senate confirmed Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, the first Black woman to serve on the Supreme Court. As of early 2023, confirmed 100 judges including 30 circuit court nominees, 69 district court judges.
    And he’s not finished.
Do we need younger leadership? Yes, we do, and I am all for electing younger, more progressive politicians to office ... President Pete has a nice ring to it ... but it appears in 2023 our choice will be between a man who got a great deal done and and a man who caused a great deal of harm to this country, so the choice is simple:

    I Don't Remember

Sorry - but would-be media whore, Cassidy Hutchinson needs to be 86'd by the media. Especially CNN which is eating up every word she says. Ditto with CBS' Face the Nation.

The Senate testimony [[or was it the House?) from one-time aide to BLOTUS' Chief of Staff, Mark Meadows, reeks of excerpts of what was probably - and now certainly is - her book. Now she's making the media rounds before a host of Voter Fraud and Insurrection trials.

Honestly, BLOTUS has a good - and bad - argument for his trials. Moving venues won't change anything. States, Cities or anything [[yes, though to Federal vs State court). It's hard to argue you wouldn't get a fair trial in Atlanta when everyone in the country know something about the case. There can be no full impartiality. None.

But now you taint the pool of people testifying after their book has come out. There is plenty of time to discredit the witness with whatever drivel she wrote.

Worse than that is her defense on CBS to say everything she says is true as she remembers is - which alone is gap moment. Her problem is, when she first testified, she said, "I don't know and I don't recall" more than 100 times !!!!

Honey, you already threw in reasonable doubt in the first go-round, now you have a book with tidbits and feelings more than facts. Almost nothing can be corroborated. You're giving your former boss and his boss a free pass.

I cannot believe, with the help of this twat, BLOTUS could possibly walk. It wouldn't surprise me if this was all planned for just that reason.

    Trump’s Golden Tower of Fraud

    SEPTEMBER 27, 2023
From The Bulwark, by Charlie Sykes:
Before the Insurrection; before the Big Lie….
Before birtherism and the conspiracy theories; before “good people on both sides”; before Trump U and the fake border wall….
Before reality television; before Sharpiegate; before he sucked up to Vladimir Putin….
Before he stole classified documents and obstructed justice; before he dined with neo-Nazis at Mar-a-Lago; before he bragged about grabbing pussies and was found liable for rape….
Before he suggested injecting bleach to cure Covid; and before the whole shambolic presidency and its fetid aftermath… there was the fraud that built it all.
The whole gaudy superstructure of golden toilets; the real estate empire fabricated on paper; the serial business failures and frauds were all a racket in plain sight, tottering on inflated values, stiffed contractors, and unpaid taxes.
The Art of the Deal was the Ur-lie, from which flowed everything else.
“I marvel at people who don’t realize Donald is, and always has been, a con man who lies, cheats, steals, and got away with it using threats of ruinous legal action, etc.,”longtime Trump observerDavid Cay Johnston wrote yesterday, after a New York judge dropped on a hammer on The Don.

    REPORT THIS AD
Via the AP: “Judge rules Donald Trump defrauded banks and insurers while building real estate empire.”
NEW YORK [[AP) — A judge ruled Tuesday that Donald Trump committed fraud for years while building the real estate empire that catapulted him to fame and the White House, and he ordered some of the former president’s companies removed from his control and dissolved.
Judge Arthur Engoron, ruling in a civil lawsuit brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James, found that Trump and his company deceived banks, insurers and others by massively overvaluing his assets and exaggerating his net worth on paperwork used in making deals and securing loans.
Engoron ordered that some of Trump’s business licenses be rescinded as punishment, making it difficult or impossible for them to do business in New York, and said he would continue to have an independent monitor oversee Trump Organization operations.
    Well, BOOM.
As attorney George Conway explained on CNN Tuesday, the partial summary judgment ruling “is the equivalent of the corporate death penalty for the Trump organization in the state of New York.”
And for those of you keeping track at home:
    **

    REPORT THIS AD
Justice Engoron ruled that Trump family members had a “propensity to engage in persistent fraud,” and hadlied for years about the company’s net worth, and inflated the value of his real estate portfolio.
Engoron wrote in his order that Trump, his adult sons, Eric and Don Jr., and the other defendants fraudulently inflated the value of properties including Trump’s Mar-A-Lago estate in Florida and his own triplex apartment in New York City, as well as 40 Wall Street, Trump Park Avenue, multiple golf courses, and an estate in upstate New York.
The judge found that the evidence was so overwhelming that there was no need to go to trial. Some of the property values inflated by Trump Crime Family:

    • Trump’s 5th Avenue apartment in Trump Tower, which was inflated by as much as $200 million—Trump claimed it was triple its actual size.
    • Trump claimed Mar-a-Lago was worth $600 million, but the judge determined it was worth only $27 million.
    • The judge agreed with NY AG Letitia James that Trump had overstated the value of his properties by as much as $2.2 billion—duping organizations like banks and insurance companies into giving them better terms than deserved.

In his order, Justice Engoron called bullshit on Trump’s explanations and defenses, calling them “bogus” and “deceptive,’” and that his denials were straight out of “fantasy world.”

    REPORT THIS AD
What does all this mean? The Daily Beast notes that “Trump Basically Just Lost the New York Bank Fraud Case Before It Even Started.”
Even before the trial officially starts, the ruling handed New York Attorney General Letitia James a near total victory, meaning that next week’s trial will mostly focus on damages that could pulverize whatever is left of Trump’s many business entities and bank accounts.
In practical terms, writes David Cay Johnston, the order means that Donald J. Trump “is no longer in business.”
Worse, the self-proclaimed multibillionaire may soon be personally bankrupt as a result, stripped of just about everything because for years he engaged in calculated bank fraud and insurance fraud by inflating the value of his properties, a judge ruled Tuesday.
His gaudy Trump Tower apartment, his golf courses, his Boeing 757 jet and even Mar-a-Lago could all be disposed of by a court-appointed monitor, leaving Trump with not much more than his pensions as a one term president and a television performer.
On Earth 2.0, this would be stunning news and certainly disqualifying for anyone seeking a position of public trust. But for Trump, it’s merely an asterisk. Almost of all of this was known, part of the bargain the GOP has made since 2016.

Indeed, Trump’s grift and greed seems almost quaint compared with his more recent parade of horribles — and the looming threat they pose to the American experiment.

There was a GOP noise fest last evening while I was at the movies. I missed nothing. Well, I did miss Chris Christie calling Trump Donald Duck, what an insult to the duck. I did watch a short clip this morning of DeSantis saying something, but because he's such an ass I kept the sound off. Smart move. Just being able to observe his face with having to listen to his voice made me realize how unintelligent he looks, his eyes are too close, his nose too big, and he resembles a badly drawn cartoon. From what I've read, not one of them dented the lead Trump has to get the Republican nomination. The GOP is going to nominate the Orange Anus, no matter how big of a liar, and fraud he is proven to be. To nominate anyone else would be admitting they the worst possible choice in the world when they voted him president. Their inability to deal with the truth is going to cost them dearly at the polls, and even then they will not learn their lesson.
