The Pool Shed Tapes Are a Window Into Trump’s Addled Mind

    JUNE 27, 2023
More than any of his other gross transgressions, the documents case has provided the clearest route to exploring his essential nature.
From Esquire, by Charles P. Pierce:
Having listened to The Tape several dozen times since we closed the shebeen down on Monday, I have come to two ironclad conclusions.
    1) Mark Meadows hired a couple of real clowns to write his autobiography. But the remaining staffers at Camp Runamuck make those two clowns look like twin Robert Caros.
    2) The former president* is the Vin Scully of crime play-by-play, especially his own.
    From CNN:
In the two-minute audio recording, Trump and his aides also joke about Hillary Clinton’s emails after the former president says that the document was “secret information.”
“Hillary would print that out all the time, you know. Her private emails,” Trump’s staffer said. “No, she’d send it to Anthony Weiner,” Trump responded, referring to the former Democratic congressman, prompting laughter in the room.
Ah, the classics. And it is a hoot to hear Anthony Weiner jokes from a guy who’s going to owe E. Jean Carroll two casinos and a golf course for having assaulted her in a department store dressing room.

I don’t think anyone was ready to hear a former president* and several other alleged adults giggling and laughing as if classified military documents were a loop of bootleg Hungarian bondage porn. And the blithe manner in which he commits crime after crime would be shocking if it came from virtually anyone else. Adding a little spice to the proceedings, he revisits old grudges. I mean, he beat Hillary Clinton and he’s still running against her through the ragged stalactites of his addled mind.
It turns out that, more than any of his other gross transgressions, the documents case has provided the clearest route to exploring his essential nature— a dangerous mixture of a greedy adult and a dangerous child, a grotesque of twisted, unfinished humanity. I am now of the belief that he has no idea that he was breaking the law because he simply doesn’t recognize its existence. That childish giggling is a big enough window into who and what he is that we can see its bleak entirety, as blank as a desert and as dead as the moon.

Yesterday the Supreme Court handed authoritarian conservatives a big loss. You see, they so desperately feel they need to say "shut up, we're in charge," they tried to change the way elections are run in the states. If their candidates were losing, or had lost, they wanted to have the state legislatures decide on elections, and some states have what are called super majorities, in which one party runs the state, they could continue to insure elected officials were of the same party. The Supreme Court said no to that cheat. And, as might be expected, conservatives are pissed that they got their hand in the cookie jar and they have taken their pissing and moaning to the Internet. Conservatives have always been bad losers.

Texas Governor, asshat, Greg Abbott took to Twitter to blast country music icon Garth Brooks for being “woke" ... Brooks is opening a bar in Nashville and he will serve Bud Light, the beer the GOP fears.
But this is about a story Abbott read a story about Brooks on satire website The Dunning-Kruger Times that claims Brooks was booed off the stage at the 123rd Annual Texas Country Jamboree in Hambriston, Texas.
Never happened, because there is no such thing as the Annual Texas Country Jamboree , and there is no such town in Texas called Hambriston, something the governor should have known if he was woke, and then he might not have Tweeted:

“Go woke. Go broke. Good job, Texas.”
As soon as Abbott learned, again, that he’s a moron, he deleted the tweet but as the internet is forever and Abbott’s stupidity will live on.
As for Garth Brooks, he has been a longtime supporter of the LGBTQ+ community and his net worth is roughly half a billion dollars so he’s literally wok and nowhere near broke.
    PS Fuck off Greg Abbott.

Evidently Kev McCarthy said some unkind things about the Moral Degenerate and was so severely chastised by the MAGA base that he went groveling back to the Orange Anus asking for forgiveness. Watching the Republican party devolve is... well, interesting. It's not that they don't realize that a majority of the country is Centrist, the truth is they just don't care. During the 2020 election, Trump got 74 million votes and for them that number is now etched in stone. They believe those voters are guaranteed. They rely on their own polls to reinforce this belief. Trump does a townhall in New Hampshire, 200 MAGA cult members show up and Twitter gets flooded with pics showing the small crowd because because the Cult will post deep fakes showing thousands in the room. It's like the pics they showed of Dodger stadium before the Pride Game. The stadium was filled to capacity, however the cult posted pics that were taken an hour and a half before the crowd was allowed in, proving that if it weren't for their lies, Republicans would have nothing.

holy shit, has Rudy flipped on Trump?

    JUNE 29, 2023
    Rudy Gee might be a washed-up rummy, but he’s a washed-up rummy with a finely-honed sense of self-preservation.
From everyone is entitled to my own opinion, by Jeff Tiedrich:
hey, remember way back in 2019, when Rudy Giuliani claimed that he had ‘insurance’ that he would use if Donald Trump ever threw him under the bus?
hold onto your hats — we just might be about to find out what that ‘insurance’ is.
    the former president’s manic bug-eyed attention-hungry gin-soaked sweat-flopping spittle-flecked butt-dialing hair-dye-dripping covid-farting glory-chasing nonsense-spouting conspiracy-spewing trouser-adjusting stark-barking-bonkers gibbering-lunatic hot-fucking-mess no-longer-a-lawyer has been less than thrilled with his no-longer-a-client lately.
marginalized, humiliated, unpaid, ridiculed, on the verge of disbarment, no longer welcome in the secret tunnels under Trump’s pesthole Florida golf motel, Rudy is primed to wreak revenge.
yesterday, we found out that Rude Boy has been interviewed by federal investigators as part of the special counsel’s investigation into efforts to overturn the 2020 election results.
just the idea of Rudy talking to the guy who convicts war criminals in The Hague is bad enough for Donny, but it’s even worse than that: Rudy has signed a proffer agreement.
Now I hear you asking, what’s a proffer,
think of a proffer agreement [[also known as a “queen-for-a-day letter,” which I fucking love) as a “get out of deep shit free” card.
a prosecutor will sit you and your lawyer down in a room and say “ok, fuck-o, we know that you’re up to your eyeballs in crimes. but we’ll tell you what: if you tell us everything you know about your partners in crime, we promise not to use anything you say as evidence against you in any future prosecution.”
and oh boy, does Rudy know a whole fucking lot about his partners in crime. he was right in the middle of it all: the fake elector scheme, the Willard Hotel insurrection planning, the fake election fraud lawsuits, the phony fund-raising. Rudy was right there, draining one bottle after another. Rudy knows all the dirt. and Rudy sure as shit doesn’t want to end up behind the wrong kind of bars.
we don’t know what’s going on behind closed doors right now, but if you were Rudy, wouldn’t you be spilling your guts and singing your heart out?
    Rudy Gee might be a washed-up rummy, but he’s a washed-up rummy with a finely-honed sense of self-preservation.
    stay tuned.

As expected, the conservative Supreme Court threw out Affirmative Action for universities and colleges yesterday. And, as expected, Clarence Thomas, a man who took advantage of Affirmative Action to get where he is, voted against it. For him, I suspect it was more about revenge than anything. Purportedly, when he was going to Harvard, thanks to Affirmative Action, he complained to friends that he felt like a 2nd class student, that others thought he was there only because of Affirmative Action, rather then on his qualifications. He evidently still doesn't realize that his qualifications wouldn't have gotten him a place on the door stoop. That man is so filled with hatred.

Oh, and the Koch group is raising money to find someone they deem qualified to run against Trump, at least $70 million so far. They know that if he gets the nomination he will set back conservatism decades.

    And here we are.....June 30th, 2023. Scary.

Return to the “whites-only” luncheonettes of the 1960s South & posit that the owners attest that they have sincere religious beliefs, reinforced by their pastor every Sunday, that blacks are inferior and that serving them would force them to endorse a message they disagree with.

And I saw this in the New York Times this morning, an echo of one the things I said yesterday regarding the Supreme Court's affirmative action decision. It is going to effect so many aspects of what we call normal life because now conservatives have put support beams under their belief that certain races are more special than others and should be exempt for rules and regulations that aide minorities.

And then there was the Student Debt decision. Conservatives love them their wealthy donors, the rich are always welcome at their table. That fact this decision and the LGBQT decision are going to hurt them at the polls never occurs to them. They don't see that kowtowing to the wealthy is most likely going to lead to a groundswell of campaign donations for Centrist and Liberal candidates is something they don't even consider. For that to happen, conservatives would need to understand that the wishes of a majority of Americans are more important then those of the few wealthy individuals who want to rule the country. We're a democracy for a reason, so everyone gets a fair shake. Conservatives see fairness as a weakness. Perhaps that why so many of them love the Orange Anus

... in the 80s with high humidity ... for several days and I am not in the mood for it. The only relief came in the form of laughter when I read that MAGAts crowds booed Miss Lindsey Graham for six straight minutes when she introduced Thing 45 at a rally in South Carolina.

This is a bonafide scandal. On the legal level, it means the Court decided a case that wasn’t a real case or controversy as Article III requires. On the political level, man cited in Supreme Court LGBTQ rights case says he was never involved means that conservative forces in the country have effected a huge change in the law, and inroad on long-established anti-discrimination principles, based on a contrived story that exploited the judicial system and simply did an end-around the requirement of actual facts.
Finally, for the Court majority it’s a huge black eye that they nevertheless will simply ignore, b/c they can, and b/c the case serves their agenda, even though they should be apoplectic about being taken advantage of. Imagine the hue & cry if Jane Roe had been a man who made it all up.

    Happy 4th of July?

Not a lot to celebrate this year, what with the Supreme deciding last year that women have no rights to their own bodies, and then deciding this year that racism in America is over so there is no need for Affirmative Action, or that The Gays can be discriminated against because of someone’s Faux Faith.
On the upside, SCOTUS also told both Louisiana and Alabama that their GOP politicians cannot redraw districts to keep Black Americans from having their voices heard at the polls.
    Heard at the polls.
Think of what could happen if all the people of color, who are once again being told they are less than, voted this year and next year and the year after?
Think of what could happen if all the women who are once again being told that they cannot make their own healthcare choices voted this year and next year and the year after?
Think of what could happen if all the LGBTQ+ people who are once again being told they are less than voted this year and next year and the year after?
Think of what could happen if all the people who are allies of people of color and of women and of the LGBTQ+ community voted this year and next year and the year after?
Think on that and maybe next year, and the year after and the year after, the Fourth of July would be worth celebrating for ALL Americans.

A funny thing about the Kennedy campaign, Republicans who anticipated his taking voters away from Biden are now finding out they were wrong. In reality, it seems as though he's bleeding voters away from Trump.

A small bag of white powder was found in the White House and as usual Republicans think this is another way for them to kick Hunter Biden. They have a problem, however, most people think this tiny bag was most like planted by a Republican desperate to keep kicking a dead horse.

And then there's the flag Trump posted on his Truth Social account, the one that read Fuck Biden. Ouch. Just when you thought every Republican mask had been ripped off, another makes an appearance waiting to be torn away to reveal even more evil. The heart and soul of the Republican party stinks with the stench of pure evil, and of course, the MAGA Cult ate it up.

Lin Wood, one of Trump's most loyal legal supporters suddenly up and retired yesterday in Georgia. Permanently. He can never practice law again, if that's what you can call his stop the steal antics. Many are wondering if this might be the result of some sort of plea deal. Looking at how so many are crumbling around Trump, I'd say that's rather likely.

And I saw where Mark Robinson, the seriously overweight Lt. Governor from North Carolina, defended the Mom's for Liberty in using a quote from Adolf Hitler. This very large man who loves to push around his faith in an attempt to be a very large authority evidently doesn't know that Hitler was not a Christian. In fact, he evidently called Christianity a Jewish plot, and saw God as an impersonal force who really didn't care about humanity. He also believe in the superiority of the Aryan race, which God had evidently chosen. Someone should tell Mr. Robinson that he doesn't fit the Aryan picture being both very large and black. Oops.

Politically speaking, everything seems so very quiet. Though, thinking about it, while it may be quiet there is this almost palpable feeling that terrible cloud that Republicans have been whispering about, the one they think is still hanging on the horizon, is much closer than they really want to believe. There are hissing whispers about Rudy trying to proffer a plea deal regarding Jan 6, and Lin Wood abruptly retiring as another possible plea deal, not to mention Meadows unsubstantiated flip which now everybody is taking as a given. One political party as put themselves in a terrible corner and it's not wet paint on the floor that's keeping them there, it's Donald J. Trump. I get much enjoyment about watching them squirm.

    This Bitch: Ryan Walters

Out there in Oklahoma, the state’s far-rightwingnut superintendent of public instruction, Ryan Walters, wants the schools in his state to teach students about the Tulsa Race Massacre, as long as they don’t teach that it was about white supremacist murdering Black people for EWB … existing while Black.
If you haven’t heard about the Tulsa Race Massacre, maybe take a gander here … Tulsa Race Massacre: We Can't Fix Racism If We Don't Learn From It … at one of the vile parts of American history.
This post isn’t about that necessarily though it is about teaching about the massacre, but it’s mostly about Ryan Walters, who took office in January, and who is, big surprise, anti-CRT [Critical Race Theory] because the right believes that if you teach white children about racism and white supremacy you’ll make them feel bad about themselves.
Here’s the deal: I’m a grown-assed man and I was never taught about the Tulsa Race Massacre, though I learned of other examples of racism in America … Slavery … Emmett Till .. Rosa Parks … church bombings … Medgar Evers … Martin Luther King … Selma … and so much more.
And yet how many of these topics aren’t taught in school, save for the obligatory hour or two spent on slavery, or a couple of classes about Civil Rights; if we fail to learn from history we’re doomed to repeat it and we are on that precipice again thanks to people like Ryan Walters who doesn’t want it taught lest white people get their feelings hurt. So I will say this once more:
I don’t feel bad about being white in America because I had nothing to do with that massacre or any of those other events; I feel horrible for what was done to Black citizens of Tulsa, who had their homes and businesses destroyed and those who lost their lives because of hate and I loathe the fact that much of that still goes on today, but how can we teach our young people, any people, that hate is wrong, that hate kills, if we don’t teach them the history of hate?
Ryan Walters recently held a public forum at which someone in the crowd asked him how teaching about the Tulsa Race Massacre doesn’t violate his ban on CRT and he said:
“I would never tell a kid that because of your race, because of the color of your skin, or your gender or anything like that, you are less of a person or are inherently racist. That doesn’t mean you don’t judge the actions of individuals. Oh, you can. Absolutely, historically, you should … But to say it was inherent in that because of their skin is where I say that is critical race theory. You’re saying that race defines a person.”
You are not a racist because you’re white; you’re a racist because you’re a racist and never learned any better and yet Walters does not want children to be taught that; but the Tulsa Race Massacre was all about race, hell, it’s been called the Tulsa Race Massacre for over a hundred years!
The Tulsa Race Massacre occurred because a young Black man may have, or actually may not have, brushed up against a white woman in an elevator. And because a Black man might have touched a white woman, he was arrested, and a mob gathered at the courthouse demanding the right to lynch that young man. When the crowd of white men, many of whom were deputized before the massacre began, didn’t get their wish to lynch that young man, they marched to the Greenwood District in Tulsa, a thriving Black neighborhood also called Black Wall Street, and destroyed it, burned it to the ground, set private homes on fire, leaving 100,000 people homeless, and murdered some 300 Black people; it was all about race.
It was all about a Black man allegedly disrespecting a white woman in the eyes of white men, and if we don’t teach that to our children they will never learn. And we’ll see it happen again.
Lastly, let this sink in: Ryan Walters has no problem teaching about the Tulsa Race Massacre as long as you don’t mention race.

There are rumors that Jack Smith wants January the 6 indictments of Trump and his evil cohorts to be done before Fannie's in Atlanta. Sounds good to me. I'm sure his team and Fannie's team are having some really sweet conversations.

It also looks like Sweden's going to be joining NATO. I find it nearly hilarious that the one thing Vlad the stupid didn't want is happening because his greed for power is making him look overwhelmingly stupid. He wanted his blow bro Trump to dismantle the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and instead the organization is growing larger, and stronger. I'm fine with this!

And there was an interesting article in The Hill on the number of single households in America. This is a bit of an eyeopener, to say the least. I was somewhat surprised when I saw that it was as high as 30%. Then, of course, I took a few moments and thought about it, about how many people I know are not married and living alone. I don't doubt that certain socially conservative groups are going to use this figure to try and guilt some people in dealing with some sort of frowned upon stigmata. And I was not surprised to see that a number of corporations aren't happy with this. Couples make babies, single people usually don't. Because of that the population of the United Staters is dropping and as far as corporations are concerned, fewer people mean lower profits. They want people to make babies, lots of babies. That's one of the main reasons they're also pumping money into the hands of the anti-abortion crowd. It's not about the sanctity of life. Nope. It really all about corporate greed.

Large Marge was recently kicked out of the ultra-conservative House Freedom Caucus but is now acting like it’s no big deal:

“I’m not really concerned about it. I don’t have time for the drama club.”
Seriously? Large Marge, the adulterous, traitorous, hate-filled bigot stunt queen has no time for drama?
Ron DeSaster was asked if he’d take the Veep spot under Thing 45 if he failed to get the presidential nod, and said he’d never be Number Two.
Funny, cuz when I think of Ron DeSaster I always think of Number Two.
The ¿Quién es más macho? battle between two spoiled billionaires, Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, was supposed to be resolved in a cage match between these fools. But now Elon wants to back out and do something simpler: he wants a “literal dick measuring contest”.
C’mon they’re both gigantic dicks with teeny weenies.
Alabama Senator Wingnut McCracker, er, Tommy Tuberville is doubling down on his claim white nationalists shouldn’t be labeled as “racist” while also insisting he opposes racism but maybe someone ought to read the definition of white nationalism:

“A type of racial nationalism which espouses the belief that white people are a race and seeks to develop and maintain a white racial and national identity.”
Seriously, Alabama, do better than electing racists, and really stupid racists, to office.

Michael Elizabeth Pence, GOP presidential candidate … hold for laughter … on his pro-life stance:
“I just have heard so many stories over the years of courageous women and families who were told that their unborn child would not go to term or would not survive. And then they had a healthy pregnancy and a healthy delivery. I’m pro-life. I don’t apologize for it. I want to always err on the side of life. I would hold that view in these matters because … I honestly believe that we got this extraordinary opportunity in the country today to restore the sanctity of life to the center of American law.”
A President Pence would support forcing women whose fetuses have zero chance of survival to carry them to term—in other words, to literally carry a fetus inside them that will not survive after birth or might be born dead.
That’s sickening to do to a woman.
Jeanine Pirro, Fox News' favorite drunk auntie, is furious about CocaineGate and Hunter Biden:
“Where are the canines? Why don’t you know everyone who’s gone through there? It’s all hogwash. You vacated the building, it was so dangerous when you saw that, what you thought might be anthrax. And now you don’t have anything to say about it. So it’s either a cover up, they’re inept. And in addition to drug testing the staffers I think they got to stop lying to us and coming out and saying—we know Hunter was there. The reason this is so important is Hunter doesn’t get the plea deal if they can pin this on him. And finally, why is Hunter Biden always in our face? Why is this guy at the White House? Why is he on Air Force One? Why is he in Ireland? Why is his [sic] idiot State Department dinners? This guy is either a drug addict or a reformed drug addict. We shouldn’t have to deal with him constantly in our face.”
Oh Jeanine, put down the box of chardonnay and listen. As a much better judge … Judge Judy … than you once said, God gave you two ears and one mouth for a reason:
Hunter Biden is at the White House because he’s a member of the First Family, much like Junior and The Dumb One during the last guy’s inept reign of stupidity. But for you, YOU, to ask why Hunter Biden is always in your face, turn around and look at your own lying, hypocritical, dumbass news channel: a Google search for “Hunter Biden” mentions at the Fox News website returned over 90,000 results; in fact, mentioned Hunter Biden over 400 times in the last two weeks.
Maybe if you’d shut your goddamned mouth, Jeanine, and lay off the wine, you wouldn’t hear the name, much less say the name, Hunter Biden so much.
George Santos, doing what he does best, which is prop himself up and lie:
“They come for me, I go right back for them because I think for far too long they’ve gotten away with going along to get along. So no, it’s not going to stay that way anymore. I’m gonna call them out. You want to call me a liar. I’ll call you a sellout. I mean Mitt Romney, the man goes to the State of the Union of the United States wearing a Ukraine lapel pin tells me, a Latino gay man that I shouldn’t sit in the front and that I should be in the back. Well, guess what? Rosa Parks wouldn’t sit in the back and neither am I going to sit in the back. That’s just the reality of how it works. Mitt Romney lives in a very different world, and he needs to buckle up because it’s gonna be a bumpy ride for him.”
First up you delusional fuck, Romney didn’t tell you to sit in the back, and didn’t say a word about you being gay or Latino. He said you, with your litany of lies, do not belong in Congress.
Secondly, do not ever compare yourself to Rosa Parks, who did more for the world in her simple act of defiance than you will ever do.
Take a seat, George, if that’s really your name, and keep Rosa's name out of your damned mouth.

An evidently the conspiracy theorists are attacking AMC theaters because of the Qanon film The Sound of Freedom. That's right, they're spreading vicious rumors about delays in showtimes, and showings being cut short because of A/C problems, and what not. Of course, none of this is true, but tell that to the Qanon crowd who will never let a little truth interfere with a good conspiracy theory.

Wack-job Hageman is the one who replaced Liz Cheney. She has no clue that Christopher Wray is a true, blue blooded Republican, a Conservative in every sense of the word, while she, herself, is a card carrying member of the Cult of Trump. Her main goal was not to use intelligent questions to find answers. Nope! Instead she spouted unproven conspiracy theories in an attempt to make him look bad. I did enjoy the bit towards the end where he described her beliefs as insane.

What made yesterday's hearing more striking was the fact that the Democrats lined up with the Conservative Wray to make the MAGA cult look truly incompetent. This was another disastrously terrible hearing for Jim Jordan's committee. As several conservative commentators noted: They're eating their own.

A Python With Hundreds of Heads

    JULY 15, 2023
    By Charles P. Pierce:
There is an invasive species in our politics today, messing up the intellectual food web and consuming otherwise useful social and political functions. Its Everglades is the House of Representatives. It is a python with over 200 heads and an unquenchable appetite.
On Friday, the House passed the National Defense Authorization Act by a very slim 219-210 majority. Only four Democratic members joined the Republican majority to pass the $886 billion bill that once was an automatic bipartisan gravy train. However, this year, the out-of-control right wing of the Republican House caucus ran both amuck and right over nominal Speaker Kevin McCarthy and it turned the NDAA into a Breitbart Christmas catalog. From the Washington Post:
Republicans, who maintain a narrow majority in the House, voted late into the night Thursday approving amendments to the NDAA that roll back Pentagon policies that allow servicewomen to travel out of state to obtain an abortion, and that funddiversity, equity and inclusion [[DEI) programs operated throughout the Defense Department. They also added prohibitions on specialized health care sought by transgender troops ormembers of their families.
McCarthy and other GOP leaders faced pushback from within their party, particularly from a vocal bloc of conservatives in Congress who bitterly oppose the tens of billions of dollars in U.S. military aid, training and other support supplied to Ukraine it resists invading Russian forces and seeks to reclaim territory that Moscow has declared its own. Their proposals to halt U.S. assistance for the government in Kyiv failed as most Republicans and Democrats remain aghast at the Russian military’s brutal assault on civilians and the country’s vital infrastructure.
In addition to maintaining the funding for the aid to Ukraine, over the course of a very long Thursday, the House managed to escape additional embarrassment. It declined to approve an amendment that would have defunded the Naming Commission that has done such wonderful work erasing the names of traitors from military bases and government buildings. [[Recently, Washington and Lee College cancelled Traveller, Robert E. Lee’s horse.) And they beat back an amendment that would have immunized the Defense Department against violations of the Endangered Species Act.
And the debate was conducted in the usual calm and reasoned fashion we’ve come to expect from the McCarthy House. Rep. Eli Crane livened things up by referring to “colored people.” Rep. Ralph Norman of South Carolina, the home office of American sedition, implied that the Biden Administration was fighting for protections for trans citizens in the military to create a distraction from the “invasion at our Southern border. [[Don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.) Rep. Warren Davidson of Ohio wanted to stop those freeloading NATO allies from sponging off us. And Rep. Brian Waltz added an amendment to revive the Pentagon program of sending surplus military equipment back to local law enforcement because every two-bit sheriff needs a tank. Rep. Bob Good chimed in, wishing that the county sheriffs in, say, Kenosha had been better armed a couple of years ago. I mean, hell, Kyle Rittenhouse can’t do everything himself.
And that is the invasive species that came in like poisonous barnacles when the Reagan Administration first made port in Washington. At that point, American conservatism attacked the national political consensus as though it were Dutch Elm fungus. Its alliance with the remnants of American apartheid was indistinguishable from the behavior of feral hogs, its marriage to radical splinter Protestantism choked the ecosystem like the water hyacinth killing a lake, and it rode the torrents of money loosed on the political system like a new species of carp.
And, on Friday, Kevin McCarthy looked over the unbalanced new political ecosystem in which the country was enmeshed, and pronounced how awed he was by the size of the pythons and how tasty he found all the carp.
“Stop using taxpayer money to do their own wokeism. A military cannot defend themselves if you train them in woke. We don’t want Disneyland to train our military.”
He’s right. We don’t want Disneyland to train our military. Not since the Dancing Teacups Mutiny back in ’62. McCarthy doesn’t even see how thoroughly he has turned into a carp. Nor does he realize the destruction he’s doing, one river at a time.

I saw that up in New Hampshire, Chris Christie is in double digits and is only 1% below Ronnie DeSantis. I'm betting that pisses off Ronnie and Casey. An internal memo got leaked from Ronnie's campaign that acknowledge he was in deep shit, so, what does Ronnie do? He says he would invade China. That's right, he wants to start a war with China. This man is dumb as a freaking brick.

Because Christie has reached enough donations, as well as double digits, he meets the RNC requirements for joining the other candidates on the debate stage. You can be Ronnie D will be there spitting out the word "woke" every few seconds. I'm betting the Orange Anus will be a no show. That gutless sack of shit is terrified to come face to face with Christie, who just might call him a gutless sack of shit, as well as a Loser.

George Will has an interesting opinion in the Washington Post this morning claiming neither Trump nor DeSantis will get the nomination. Keep in mind, his wife is part of Tim Scott's campaign, one that will flail and then disappear. I do, however, [[there's however again), think his statement is correct. Just who will get the Republican nomination? I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't Chris Christie, mostly because he's doing the one thing no other GOP candidate is doing: attacking Trump. There are a lot of Centrist and Left Leaning Republicans out there who are gleefully enjoying every barb Christie jams into the thin skinned Orange Anus. I don't doubt that soon he'll start putting feathers on those barbs so they stand out even more. And if you think he's sharp now, wait until more indictments drop. This is going to get so entertaining!
