    If this is the same exhibit that was recently at the Charles H. Wright Museum in Detroit, it is excellent and well worth a visit. I think kids should go see it so they can learn some music history - they will not be bored as it has bits on rappers and today's artists.

    Excuse me for raining on everybody's parade,now i know that the Apollo is famous for all the great acts that came through and the fact that it's in New York makes it that much larger yada yada yada,so excuse me for remembering that the little[Howard Theater]in tiny D.C.

    was actually the first to feature black entertainers NOT THE APOLLO as many might think,just thought i would add that tidbit.
