Markus Kelly & the Impassions -- Big funk 45

Apart from the fact that they were from St Louis & had this sought after funk 45 released around 1968, can anyone here tell me anything about Markus Kelly & / or The Impassions ??

I know what Markus was up to from 1973 to 1975 [[working with Kent Washburn at CMC studios in St Louis .... along with the likes of the Hypnotics & Charles Drain) but would like to find out more about his earlier work.

I guess Bob Eagle was the guy who ran the White Eagle label !!!
Anyone confirm this ??
