wow, pretty Brenda.....I seem to remember her doing "Just Look At What You've Done" on the same show. Thanks for posting.
^ No prob.
I'm glad someone posted it on YouTube because it looked like she never performed this during the song's heyday.
Love her...talented singer, songwriter, and attractive. But she should have moved a lot less here and just sang. Looked like a mashed potato/ tempts-tina roll all tied up in one.
This is American Bandstand. This was posted on here a few months ago

Very drag-queenish, LOL.
She also performed it on the Hy Lit show in Philly.
This is from Shebang with host Casey Kasem.
No it was from American bandstand
here is the interview after she sings you’ve made me feel so very happy
That's what I thought. Dick Clark never decorated the set for artists performances on AB. He did that on his show out of NYC, The Beechnut Sat. Night Show in late 50s and early 60s. This looks very much like Shebang. Brenda appeared on it several times. Venus Clare, the person that uploaded the video on Youtube had it wrong.
I just posted the interview with dick Clark
Most of the AB shows didn't have that background...
This is from Shebang and you can see how they decorated the stage vs how AB's stage was before Sept 1967 when they started broadcasting in color.
Shebang was broadcast in Philly. AB was originally from Philly. Is it possible that Dick was hosting on Shebang instead of AB? I'm sure he owned rights to it. That would make sense. Because traditionally American Bandstand wouldn't look like this and it didn't have the AB logo that most Bandstand shows have.
Shebang was always broadcast in LA . Dick Clark moved AB to LA around 64.
No. Shebang was broadcast from Los Angeles with former Detroiter Casey Kasem as the host. AB originated in Philly at a studio at 59th & Market [[I use to catch my train from there into Center City). AB moved to LA in 1964.
Dick Clark was a competitor in the broader sense. He stole ideas. That's how we got The American Music Awards show. He created it to compete with the Grammy Awards Show. In the 70s he created a show called "Soul Unlimited" I believe was the name to compete with "Soul Train".
Thanks for the correction. I fast read because I thought I saw "Shebang" and Philly in the same sentence so I apologize for that. But I still think he bought rights to Shebang even if this is from American Bandstand.
The log in THE HISTORY OF AMERICAN BANDSTAND has Brenda performing YMMSVH on 9/16/67.
I think what had me questioning whether or not it was from AB or not was I didn't see its logo.
