    Great article! Thanks for sharing Marv. Not only are Leonard Pitts Jr's observations on the money, we can read Otis Williams' touching eulogy for Dennis as part of the piece.

    I did want to be Dennis Edwards. Unfortunately, in 1968 I had a wisp of facial hair and those slicker than owl excretion sideburns were not going to happen for me.

    I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Edwards in 2007 and told him that, and he cracked up.

    I remember thinking that they were just the coolest. Oh and Walt Frazier and Earl Monroe of the Knicks. LOL
