The next issue of 'In The Basement' magazine will feature the lovely Maxine Brown as its feature article & that means the cover, baby!

I'm sure that Maxine will have some very interesting things to say about her career, as well as her continued popularity, both here & with our UK brethren.

Also to be featured in the magazine will be jazz-funkster Michael Henderson, who also had a pretty nice way with a ballad. Michael cut his teeth with some legends & his story should be quite interesting.

Brenton Wood, Vaneese Thomas and Helene Smith will also be featured.

Unfortunately. the obituaries include Myrna Smith of the Sweet Inspirations, Bernard Wilson of the Blue Notes, Teena Marie, Steve Mancha & our own Weldon Arthur McDougal III.
