I can tell you that ‘76 gowns from The Midnight Special are Bob Mackie/Ray Aghayan and the Central Park robe ensemble is an Issey Miyake. She has said that she and Mackie have a collaborative relationship.

she never even has to go to the "9's" all the time. ..even most of the simpler get ups were stylish and classy...her black skirt, heels and silver top on Motown 25 is a good example of simplicity working well for her. And a big plus was [[probably) she didn't have a lot of weight to hide.
