An unforgettable gem from James Carr

    Hi!

"The Dark End of the Street" celebrates its 50th anniversary.
There are also a few words from Nellie Tiger Travis and reviews of the latest CDs by Will Downing, Clarence Carter and Uvee Hayes at

Thanks for reminding me of James Carr. He is truly an 'unsung hero' and 'Dark End of the Street' is a classic.

I have his cd 'The Complete Goldwax Records Singles' and will dig it out and give it a spin.

Even a live performance by James in later years, voice undiminished.
