I always wanted to ask if Mary had a chin implant. Her chin looks...weird.
"Menopause: The Musical", well it isn't exactly "Funny Girl" but it's a job and home girl needs to pay the rent.
How is it possible for this woman to look so good.......all of her life! Mary Wilson......whew!
Absolutely stunning! Beautiful inside and out.
In regards to a previous question about Mary Wilson's chin. I read that after the tragic accident when she lost her son, she was badly hurt and needed surgery.
Chin implants were also very popular in Hollywood back then I hear. Carol Burnett admitted to having it done. And I heard Diana ross made a remark to Mary right before the infamous Motown reunion about what she had done to her face. Mary's face also seemed to change the most in her career. She clearly had dental work a few times, as well as caps at one point, and then there is the possible chin implant and obviously just getting older. To me she is both the least recognizable, and yet the most beautiful, alive supreme today.
Mary looks cute in those spectacles. I suspect she could put on anything and still look Supreme!
Not sure I'd want to see a show about that subject though!
Mary has been stunning since the Primettes. I think the musical could be very funny and give a good message. Wasn't the Vagina Monologues a huge hit?
It was, but you really should have saw her in "Beehive"! She this solo number where she sang this really slow version of Sonny & Cher's "The Beat Goes On" and gave this tremendous monologue about her brother being in the Vietnam War, etc. They had this multi-level plexi-glass stage where Mary danced from one level down to the next and the next. Great show.
Another great musical play was the one she did in Sweden called "Supreme Soul". She's been "The Leader of the Pack", "Ardella's Soul Shack", "Grandma Sylvia's Funeral" where she was Jewish LOL! and several other stage plays.
Are there any videos of Beehive?
