I remember this came on the same Saturday as their appearance on American Bandstand. It seemed strange because they looked so different for each show. I am guessing that they taped the shows weeks apart.

"You're What's Missing in My Life" would have made a great single.

It was a great song. G.C. Cameron covered it in 1977:

I always thought this could have been a potential hit single. It's a good song decently performed but i think Scherrie would have been better as the lead vocal. Even so another potential lost opportunity.

Mary sounds great! MSS were very unique. I wish they could have done one more project. My fav grouping. This should have been a hit.

Mary does sound great. She and Scherrie were a great duet as were Mary and Susaye "We Should Be Closer Together".

At first I did not know it was a duet! I thought it was all Scherrie they sound so similar on this.

I agree with others that this was a potential hit. Always a mystery as to why it wasn't released at the time. Great vocal interplay between Mary and Scherrie. It was also my understanding that it is Cindy and not Susaye singing background on this track [[and most others on the High Energy album). However, I could be mistaken.

It is interesting that GC Cameron recorded a solo version of this song, because when you listen to the lyrics it seems a natural for a male/female duet! Would have been a good fit for him and Syreeta.
