While I was glad to see this I could have used other folks reflecting
on Marvin's legacy...I mean Stevie was a given, a treat to watch but
I can think of 40 other folks I'd have called before I talked to Madonna
and Bono. QuestLove for one...Anyway, I was glad to something different posted in the Motown Forum. The company had over 40 acts
but all folks talk about is one chick...Never understood that...

Yeah. I didn't understand that Bono part. What about Kim Weston, Frankie Gaye his brother, Harvey Fuqua, members of the Originals. Many of those people were still around when this was filmed.

Splanky believe me I know what you mean. That handful of folks worships that chick. Strange I know.

Me neither splanky, that's why I rarely read any thread in the Motown section. Just seeing the title makes me run away !

Marv thanks for this what I've seen so far is good, well anything about Marvin Gaye is good. Plus it's nice to see a Marvin Gaye thread.

You are most welcome McMotown. Marvin Gaye has such a great volume of great work that it does deserve to be remembered and discussed here more than it is.

Thanks for sharing the Marvin Gaye doc. I've never seen it before and I enjoyed the various interviews reflecting on Marvin's life.
