Luke, are you familiar with Gloria's Motown album, "Share My Love? It, too, contains a few tracks that will find you exclaiming "Wow"!

Share My Love was a disappointment to me. I had Gloria's 1966 Uptown album, Come Go with Me, which Ed Cobb produced, and it was excellent. "Heartbeat" is still one of my all-time favorite recordings. I never heard her version of "Tainted Love" [[also produced by Cobb) until years later, but it, too, is excellent. Thus, I was expecting to be blown away when she signed with Motown and came out with Share My love, but it fell far short of my expectations. Oh, it has its nice moments, but in my opinion it didn't bespeak Gloria's talent by any means. This video attests to how good she really was [[and might still be, for all I know).
