Louis Price - Flesh and Blood

Given the various tragic events recently, this Motown track by Louis Price off his 1991 album is so meaningful and uplifting.....it deserves a hearing

Give a listen to Louis' rendition of " What Becomes Of The Brokenhearted". Very nice.

It's a REALLY good CD! He also manages to take Marvin's "Distant Lover" and deliver an uptempo version which really shows off his vocals. So good. Berry really rated him and invested in him as a solo artist and it's a great shame the commercial success wasn't there because Louis is so very talented.

Louis is an awesome singer. I never understood why they did not bring him back into the group.

The "Soul Mix" is a better version and yes very meaningful with what's been going on with these tragic events.

I had totally forgotten about this. I haven't played it in maybe 25 years! How time flies.

It is a good album Mike. I bought it at the time of release and thought back then how capable this guy was of becoming a major solo star. Such a pity it never happened but this album is well worth revisiting.
