    Thelma Houston & George Benson

I apologise to those who are expecting to see a video of these two legends performing together or something along those lines, unfortunately this thread is much more boring than that!!!!

You see, iTunes and Apple Music -- who have too small a selection of Thelma Houston tracks available to download I should say -- credit many of her songs as by "Thelma Houston & George Benson". Now, this could be a completely nonsensical error that has spread throughout the world of digital music like a virus. But, and this is probably quite unlikely but the question needs asking, did George Benson collaborate with Thelma Houston or is there a random backing musician also called George Benson who worked with Thelma? HELP ME before I go mad! Thanks guys

Thanks Carole. But I'm a bit confused... what is that? Is it a collaboration with George Benson?

Thelma Houston worked on several projects after [[and maybe during) her Motown tenure. The Pressure Cooker stuff springs to mind but there seems to be quite a bit more. Thelma collaborating with George Benson on a Pink Floyd song wouldn't surprise me at all but I would sure love to hear it - I can't get the links to work.

I have this CD. It's really quite good, but George Benson doesn't even appear on it. Thelma recorded "Ruby Tuesday" and "Comfortably Numb" as a solo and "Let It Be" as a duet with Roger Daltrey.

Yea, I'm not sure George Benson has had anything to do with Thelma Houston at all. I have a feeling this might be some digital error reproduced across the entirety of iTunes [[and CDs it seems!!).....

I also found this video of Thelma performing "Ruby Tuesday"

I know this is slightly off topic, but I love this song!
