    Don Kirshner RIP

Another great legend has passed today. Don was responsible along with his partner Al Nevins for discovering so many artists and writers and the founder of Dimension Records. I worked with him back in the 70's He was 74. RIP my friend.

NPR has a nice little retrospective of his life and career. I didn't know that one could consider Kirshner insturmental in forming the Brill Building crop of songwriters.....

From Dimension Records on the man contributed greatly to music and musical performance. Thank you, Don Kirshner. Rest In Peace.

I always remember Dimension 45's for their non-label label. The printing being directly on the vinyl, in blue and sometimes purple.

Don was a gret collector of talent at the Brill Building and a major figure in the history of the music. This is bad news indeed.

    RIP Mr Kirshner
