If you were born before 1961, you won't find a Motown song as #1 on the day you were born.

This is very interesting.

Mine was I'm a Believer by The Monkees
Ah yes... I remember doing this ages ago and finding that it was some weird song I had never heard of...
Just did it...
It's "Maria Maria" by Santana featuring The Product G&B
'Rock the Boat' by Hues Corporation.
Cheers
Paul
Bridge Over Troubled Water - Simon & Garfunkel
Mine that I know was #1:
Pop: Elton John: Philadelphia Freedom
R&B: AL Green - L.O.V.E [[Love)
Country: Merle Haggard - Always Wanting You
According to this link, it's "I Think I Love You" by The Partridge Family. Strange...I always thought Billboard's pop #1 at the time was "The Tears of a Clown." And way to make a guy feel elderly, TomatoTom!

"If" by Perry Como? Yikes! Also [[according to the link) I was born 34,693,698 minutes ago.
According to that link, it was "That's The Way I Like It" by K.C. and the Sunshine Band. But that conflicts with a different "#1 on your birthday" site I've tried in the past, which said it was "Fly, Robin, Fly" by Silver Convention. Not sure which of those is the real #1 from Nov. 27, 1975. I need to check this out...
Mine is this: RUMORS ARE FLYING ~ Frankie Carle & his Orchestra [[1946). Not much like my taste. I hate to think of what was number 1 on The Canadian Pop charts back then.
Mine was "My Girl" by the Tempts. Guess momma was singing "My Guy", though Lol!
Mine was "Be My Love" by Mario Lanza [[1951). [[Yuck!) I guess it was a few years yet before Rock N' Roll took over the charts.
Patti Page - I Went To Your Wedding
Line Renaud - Ma petite folie [[the French version of Guy Mitchell's My Truly Truly Fair)
The charts hadn't begun in the UK when I was born!!
