I'm glad for the rook. A.J. Terrell got fleeced, though. He's given up less than 100 yards all season and somehow didn't make the Pro Bowl? Glad I don't watch that game.

I could also make a case for Steelers WR Diontae Johnson. Great stats but not picked.
Others: [[yep) A. J. Terrell, Cordarelle Patterson, Creed Humphrey, Xavier McKinney.

Nothing has changed Jai.. I'm only looking at one game at a time. See ya again soon though
Brady Bunch got shut out by the Saints....Cardinals got their butts kicked by the Lions... Any Given Sunday my friend, Any Given Sunday. Shurgs
I'll take any amulet, spell, good luck charm for Sunday.
And Ms M.......congrats....your Boyz got their playoff spot with that 49'er loss.
Wait... One of our teams actually made the tournament? Be still, my heart.
I'm looking forword to the off season, when my team gets the new name, and hopefully a new qb[i like that kid in b-more,hmmm??]ms m, beat us quickly and don't drag it out!!
**Ahem**
Steelers Nation wondered why punter Presley Harvin III punting below his capabilities. Discovered his father PH II was recently diagnosed with a terminal illness. Steelers got him to his son’s game vs Titans. PH II passed away this morning. His son will not be punting in the Chiefs game. Steelers signed Corliss Waitman [[sp). How sad.
We forget that the guys in the uniforms are players with the same problems we all have. I hate to see them get hurt and I hate it when they deal with personal loss. It was classy for the Steelers to do that for him and his dad.
I'll bet somebody that I know or know of has died on a third of the Christmas and holiday seasons in my life. Several of these have died on Christmas day, making it a solemn day as much as it is a holiday.I know folks who get depressed around this time because of it. I hope his family can carry on in the joy of his dad's life instead of letting the grief of his passing take hold.
Jimmy G handed that to us on a silver plater and I laughed my butt off ...he's such a jerk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Expect and hope my Boyz will make it swift and painless Jai!
Merry Christmas Ms M!

Jai's having a rough night. Sixers just bounced the Quizards and Dallas is treating the WFT like they're the WTF...?
and I'm feeling a little squirrely
This is fun!
TOUCHDOWN!
Sorry Jai, this really is embasrassing for your guys.
This is nuts!
56-7
wow
I should go to bed but this is like watching a car wreck
Homie needs to chill. I can appreciate the frustration but in the grand scheme of things this wasn't a make or break game for Wash, geeze louise.
You do know you're the only one watching that game now, don't you? Every time I swing by NBC or gametracker, it gets worse.
LOL
I know and even my internet started to get bored and accting up and eventually I fell asleep before it eneded but they are my team no matter what, and I was determined to ride the wave as far and as long as I could
Even the internet home page has a feature on our inept OC this morning.
Both the OC & DC have to go......
*Welp* Just woke up and it looks like Dallas just scored another touchdown.
And what about about the WFT fight on their bench?
The wheels have come off. I wouldn't have been surprised if that had happened in Miami before the season turned around because there was a funky vibe in the locker room until the trade deadline passed and Tua was not traded. Since then, it's like a light flicked on. Really hoping to lay a lick on New Orleans tonight.
Well, the Falcons chances of making the playoffs are roughly the same that a fart holds to be smelled in a hurricane, but who knows what will happen? They're so bad, I really don't want them to advance because round one will be an embarrassment. There's literally nothing that we do well and managing to go 7-8 after last year's 4-12 record counts as progress, IMO.
Miami went into Sunday needing New England, the Chargers and Ravens to lose and **surprise, surprise** they all did. Now, the Phins control their own destiny with hard games against Tennessee and the Deflatriots in the last two weeks of the season. First squad to lose seven in a row and then win seven in a row. We already know that one of those bad losses is going to come back to keep us out of the dance, but two wins and we're in.
That's good to hear, Jerry. If that can happen, you're in. We have no chance of making the playoffs. But, I'd be really happy if could beat the Browns!!
That's a game between two teams that let their fans down this season. I'm calling Baker Mayfield "Faker May Yield" because he's falling way short. Browns have to figure out how much they're willing to pay him. I doubt they're going to franchise him, but since they have few [or no] options to replace him, he may have enough leverage to get more than he's worth.
BTW: I trailed my opponent in fantasy by 15 points at the end of the early games. He had one guy playing at 4:00 PM. Cool cool cool. I had Big Ben [projected to score 19 points], Tyreke Hill [17], Dolphins tight end Mike Gesicki [9.8] and Miami's defense [6.5]. Somehow, Big Ben and Tyreke Hill combined to give me 10 points total. Ten. Total. Points.
I needed 15 points to win. Thank goodness, the Fins D gave me 28, which is a crazy amount. Now, even if I lose, I get at least my registration fee back. If I win, I'm taking $200 or so. But I watched Kansas City v Pittsburgh with great interest, just knowing that I was going to be ahead by halftime and neither guy did anything. Worst game that I saw Roethlisberger play [I think he really is going to quit] and Hill only got about three targets.
SMH.
John Madden, 85.......has passed away. No details yet.:[[
I saw that. That's sad news. Fox Sports just dropped a documentary about him over the weekend. His Raiders used to beat the Dolphins, even when the Dolphins were still a dominant team [early to mid-70s].
He's one of the VERY few who could go into the Pro Football HOF 3 ways: a coach, a broadcaster, a contributor [[the Madden Game). I remember when he was the coach!
Wow, he will be sorely missed!
In his press conference Ben Rothlisberger announced that Monday Night's Game against the Browns would "probably be his last home game." It was all over Pittsburgh that Ben had asked several old teammates to come to Monday Night's Game. So there's probably an end to the Big Ben era.
He's a future hall of famer. How rare is it for somebody to spend his whole career with one team in this era? There are rumors swirling that the Steelers' quickest way to bridge the next year or so would be to trade for **ta-daaaa** Matt Ryan. Not sure what Atlanta would do to bridge the next year or so if they made that trade.
I just heard the very same rumor today! But I also heard Russell Wilson to the Steelers!
I'll believe it when it's final.
Unlike this year, next year's draft doesn't have any QBs who are supposed to be sure things at the next level. There'll be good or great ones, to be sure. But they won't check all of the boxes the way Trevor Lawrence, Justin Fields, Zach Wilson, Trey Lance and Mac Jones did. Even with that being the case, only Jones has led his team to a winning record in his first season. Teams like Pittsburgh and Atlanta have hard choices to make. I don't picture Seattle at a crossroads yet with Wilson unhappy but well-fed. Browns might have to franchise May-yield because he's going to have suitors if they let him hit the market.
Didn't they pick up his option?
I just checked and you're correct. For some reason, I was understanding he was in a contract year. So, they're tethered to him for another season. Makes it more interesting to me that Tua's having a heckuva season in Miami [if not full of highlights of bombs and spectacular plays] and half of the fan base is dying to dump him. But he's playing behind one of the shakiest offensive lines in football and still has the highest completion percentage in the pros. Imagine him playing with actual time to throw the ball downfield.
May-yield was the first player picked in his draft and should be an example of how hard it is to find a good starter at QB. If we dump Tua, it's at our own risk and that risk will be that it's going to be another 20 years to replace Dan Marino. If the definition of "insanity" is doing the same thing repeatedly while expecting different results, the Dolphins organization is definitely insane.
56-14...may we rest in peices[hehehe]what was it that smokey said...laugh to keep from crying..hey jerry, how's this for insane..the[wft]could still make the playoffs[playoffs???]and your falcons miss out, wacky, wacky world!!!
