Ms M, I just found this on X [[aka Twitter):

QB Dak Prescott was knocked out & put under sedation for 11 hrs while he got a leg tattoo.
The massive tattoo also features Daffy Duck doing Dak's signature touchdown celebration, the Dallas skyline & a sign from the Pine Creek mobile home park in Louisiana where Prescott grew up. And images of a Black Mamba [[Kobe), a jumpman logo [[Jordan) & a pic of Muhammad Ali.

If he was that well sedated I hope someone was checking to see if he was breathing. I have too many bad memories of Michael Jackson.

    Huh...

I'd suggest that he was probably sedated when he decided that was a good idea, Moe.

I remember the last time y'all played in the playoffs. The referees were very generous to the Cowboys in one of the worst displays of officiating I've seen in more than 50 years of watching the NFL. Even Mike Pereira admitted the refs got it wrong. This was the week before Dallas got ripped off when Dez Bryant caught the ball on the four yard line, fell across the end line, dropped the ball when he hit the turf and the pass was ruled incomplete. What comes around, goes around I guess.

Jerry, to sit still for 11 hrs would be no small feat! But, he has 300 lb linemen jumping on him some of the time.

We watched that game [Lions/Chiefs] again yesterday. I saw a few of those holds [by KC[ get ignored by the refs.

LOL!! My point was that game pops into my head every time I hear commentators mention Detroit hasn't won a playoff game since the '90s. Nothing about the Boyz, who have a history of excellence that I envy.

Appreciate the love but the last time we saw a Super Bowl from a front row seat I was in my prime....and that was more than two decades ago. Granted we've been to eight and won five, no brag just fact but I would LOVE to be in the 6 wins column with my Terrible Towels buddy and that other team I shall not mention, and would like to get there before the Niners!!!!!! Not to mention the last few years have been decent but frustrating as heck.

Miami last won a Super Bowl 50 years ago.

Let's ruminate on that for a moment.

    50

    Years

    Ago

    Oooouuuucccchhhh.

Atlanta's been to two. The first time, Eugene Robinson, NFL Man Of The Year for his charitable outreach and positive representation of professional football players, was arrested on South Beach picking up a prostitute. That wasn't the reason we played flat against the Broncos in 1998, but dang, it didn't help, did it? And the second time, Kyle got cute and made history that is too painful for me to elucidate here.

From my seat, you've got it great, Kiddo.

Whelp. My fantasy football lineup is set. I started Darren Waller in the Sunday night game even though he's questionable. Since I'm off to church, I can't do much to change things once I log off my laptop. My brother already alerted me that he's not going to church today. You know, with the holiday and all. That's how much he loves his Steelers.

Here's to a successful season for all of my SDF Yo Moe fam.

Wow, this isn't going the way I expected at all. Although good play for Watts. They may have lost the challenge but hopefully this will give the terrible towels some momentum. If not I may have to switch over to the dirty birds Moe.

Atlanta doesn't have their feet underneath them right now. Defense is playing well but the offense is putrid.

The irony is, I switched over to the Birds who were looking good and then poof, lost the stream. NOW, the only game I can get is the Steelers. Need to get this sorted out before tonight...geeze!

By the way Moe, I'm guessing you and Jerry's brother are not happy campers right about now. OUCH!

It pains me to say this but the Niners look good!

What am I watching? The guy I'm playing in fantasy has Dallas' defense starting and although they were projected to score 7 points, they're sitting on top of 28 right now. So if you're keeping score, my two actual teams both won but thanks to the Cowboys' D, I'm going to lose in fantasy football. Can't win them all, I guess.

OMG Ms M, congratulations!!!!! What a score!!! If only the Steelers score would've been that in reverse [for the Steelers].

I have to tell you what happened to me yesterday. For some reason AT&T decided to give me the Ohio stations here in Tennessee [I don't know why]. The Steelers game was supposed to be on the other channel [the other of course the Browns game]. It seems that particular station is out in limbo. The powers that be can't come to an agreement to renew the contract, so the entire station is dark.....so no programs of any kind. Maybe it was only right that I didn't see the entire game [ugh]. Have to get it fixed today.

That's rough. I watched my games on bootleg because my teams are only broadcast on Sunday afternoons if they're playing Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati or Baltimore. Which means I'm lucky to see a Dolphins or Falcons game on broadcast TV once every year or so. And I've been a cord cutter for nearly 30 years so I'm not paying for Sunday Ticket.

He is, but he knows the season is a marathon, not a sprint. Like me, he's less concerned with how well/poorly his team plays than he is with seeing improvement week over week. He'll probably get upset if they play the same way next week. Experience suggests that's not likely to be the case.

I'm for the Bills, too. But Damar Hamlin is a healthy scratch tonight.
