    Kellmac Records Question

Does anyone happen to know of a cd available that has all of the kellmac releases on it?

Sorry, Mike...I don't think Kellmac has been documented on CD, unlike its sister labels Mar-V-Lus and One-Der-Ful [[both of which had CD's put out by Charly and Goldmine).

What about One-Der-Ful's 3rd label, M-Pac? Why would they have CDs for only 2 of the three? Kell-Mac was distributed by The Leaner Brothers' operation, but I don't think they owned the controlling interest. Maybe they owned a piece of it [[similar to Ed Wingate's partnership in Gene Redd's Stephanye Records, as his Golden World Records distributed it, and Redd used their facilities). Early Midas, Toddlin' Town, Halo and Flash Records likely had similar arrangements.

The Leaner Brothers/Onederful simply distributed Kellmac.
Can't remember without looking but there was three or four I think behind Kellmac. Leon Singleton and Bill Cody were two of them as well as being the production company behind some if not all Kellmac releases.

The CDs that were put out were of dubious origin and dreadful quality : ie almost certainly bootlegs so a lack of a third volume is no real loss.

Robb, I think there was also an M-Pac CD as well.
