Motown Christmas Songs Questions

This question has been prompted by the release of the expanded Supremes Christmas album....... none of the songs sound like they were recorded at Hitsville.

Why do you think that so few Motown Christmas songs have the Hitsville Motown sound? Stevie's What Christmas Means To Me and, for obvious reasons, The Funks Winter Wonderland are exceptions.

Also, can you identify other Hitsville recorded Christmas songs please?
