    D.R. Duets CD

I saw this mentioned on another thread and thought I would give it its own. If D.R. were to record a duets CD, which artists would you like her to duet with? Some of the songs could feature more than two people. My choices are [[in alphabetical order):

    Adele

    Aretha Franklin

    Barry Manilow

    Marilyn McCoo

    Jeffrey Osbourne

    Freda Payne

    Lionel Ritchie

    Smokey Robinson

    Barbra Streisand

    Dionne Warwick

I would like her to duet with some younger performers - Adele i agree on and what about Justin Timberlake, Ed sheeran, Sam Smith and maybe Mariah Carey and Mary J. Blige.

It's an interesting idea, but personally I'm not a duets fan. Timberlake and Sam Smith seem like good choices, though!

I agree on the younger performers part. They don't know any better and they can use what's left of her for their own career promotion.

Created my own CD once of all Diana's duets to include Ray Charles, Barry M., Lionel, Smokey, Stevie, The Temptations, and Michael Jackson. I was really surprise at how nice it sounded on car system.
Today I would like to see her duet with
    Janet Jackson
    Beyonce
    Mariah Carey
    Chris Brown
    Akon
    Elton John
    Susaye Greene and Scherrie Payne
    Elliot Yamin
and Brandy [[only because I thought their voices blended so well together)

Philip Oakey - "Don't You Want Me"

I love the idea of her recording with other Supremes. It could lead to a tour but not be promoted as a reunion to avoid a problem.

I think Gene Simmons of KISS should be on the list.

Why is Marv2 posting pictures of Mary Wilson on a thread that has nothing to do with her? This is about a Diana Ross duet CD. Weird!!!

There are masses of young artists and directors that want Miss Diane in their movies, tv shows and to sing with them on their songs.

All I'm gonna say about that Iiiisss.....SHE'S DIANA ROSS! If Aretha Franklin is not known as Queen Diva first, she is! She can probably do anything, sing with anybody she wants, almost nobody, save for perhaps long / now RIP guys like Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson, are above her anyways!

Elvis is not beyond her. Both Susan Boyle and Michael Buble have managed to get permission from the Presley estate. As regards Michael Jackson that seems almost inevitable.

A nice thought but unlikely in the extreme.

She will sing with Sweet Jesus before there's a duet with Mary; heck they didn't even "duet " as Supremes!

Sure they did with "Where Did Our Love Go?" amd "Falling in Love With Love". Mary's voice is too strong and powerful now to duet with Diane's much weaker voice.
