It was, of course, Stewart Parvin, and Rachel Trevor-Morgan, who convinced HM

The green used for the outfit is, I believe, the exact tone used by Apple for the text message iPhone icon.

It will be interesting to see when it is used again. One thing is very likely : it won't be worn when HM will be seen close to lawns, fields, or woodland, where green is the predominant colour.

The rose-pink lipstick was also a stronger tone than usual.

The 'work' shoes would have been old favourites, which are reheeled and used for years. When new ones are necessary, a member of staff [[code name 'Cinders') who has the same shoe size and fitting, 'wears them in', walking around the inside of the Royal properties....

Yes! How indeed could you forget the Mary Wells version.......it's 'unique'!

I'm always mesmerised by its exuberant, burlesque arrangement.

For much of it, everyone is singing and playing with great gusto, competing like mad for attention, yet without quite gelling with any of the others....and Mary bravely keeps singing, veering alarmingly on and off key.

Yes, not all the standards on side two of the "My Guy" album are as wonderful as I would like them to be, but they are Mary Wells recordings and Mary was certainly wonderful. You're description of YDSTM is alarmingly accurate! She did a much better job on the previously unreleased standards included in the "Something New" compilation. My favorite standard by Mary Wells is "Time After Time" which appeared on her first 20th Century Fox album "Mary Wells".
