Great news! I predicted this would be re-released.
This is good news indeed!
Now, if they will also release the other Quincy Jones project, Love Me By Name from A&M, we'll have her complete catalogue!
Ooops… Hmmm… i believe that there maybe some cuts from Crewe Records that we don't have digitally yet.
Incredible. It seems to me if this can be released some other lost Motown albums could somehow see release.
Have any of us heard the re-release of Leslie Gore's "California Nights"?
No. Is it re-released?
DUDE! Again? First Sugar Bar and now this ... and here I've been thinking your newsworthiness is "marv-elous" LOL!!

LOL, there are some things I am wonderful and marv-elous at.............and then I suck at others and depend on you guys. I've got to look this over and maybe buy my first CD in a while.
Thanks for this good news, Carole. My wish is coming true! Keep 'em coming!
Has to be good news.
I ordered California Nights and I saw the others Ace has available. Very nice.
Will do but it has to come from England to BC Canada! Two weeks and we'll talk!
I got it; I play it quite a bit in my truck; I'll bring the cover in tomorrow and brief you. Good sound; California Nights and Treat Me Like A Lady, I Won't Love You Anymore, Off and Running, I'm Going Out the Same Way I Came In. Good notes.
According to Amazon [[U.S.), the American release date for Lesley Gore's long-awaited "Someplace Else Now" CD has been pushed back to August 14. Better late than never.
The issuer, Real Gone, calls for Aug 7 release. I preordered mine there yesterday -

I've been listening to California Nights a lot; I wonder if there is a lot of hiss behind Treat Me Like A Lady or if it is some kind of cymbal in the background.
It's a good cd; lots of bonus cuts; nice booklet.
I received my copy of "Someplace Else Now" today. I ordered directly from Real Gone and their service was super-fast. A three word review of the disc: I love it! Great songs [[all written by Ms. Gore. many of which would have fit in perfectly with Diana Ross albums of the same period), great 7os style production, and wonderful, articulate and thoughtful singing by the mature, lemon-and-tonic voiced singer. That's all I need to say. A wonderful surprise from Real Gone, and of course Ms. Gore.
And a pdf I found on that worldnet intraweb thing -

Not long to wait in the UK.
