Nice piece about this much-loved Motown group who gave us several iconic songs in the sixties. Their sound, along with that of the Isley Brothers, was central to the UK Motown experience. I've not explored this website fully yet, but there may be more tributes there to our other favorites.

A very nice tribute. Thanks for posting it, Sharpmoves. The Elgins' "Heaven Must Have Sent You," imo, is one of the ten best Motown singles. What a gem!
