    I so agree Mike.

She looks as though she was a good sport...the rapping between her and that guy is classic.

Honest man, crikey, you have confirmed my suspicion that the guy is Sammy! I was going to suggest it was him when I posted, but knew of no link between Yvonne and Sammy, so too tenuous to mention. Fascinating. He's quite a mover too!

I met Yvonne briefly in 1968 and at that time she told me that she had once been married to James Brown but I've not seen anything to corroborate that anywhere. She did have a daughter by him. Anybody know the deal?

Hi Big Al, I didn't know about Sammy until honest man mentioned it above, but will this do?
Levert and Williams still reside within five minutes of each other in the upper-income Cleveland suburb of Shaker Heights. [[Strain commutes from L.A., where he lives with his singer wife, Yvonne Fair, and her 13-year-old daughter, Venisha.)

from the following article by People mag in June 26 1978. Note the O'Jays are referred to as an oldie group in 1978!!!!!!

I don't think Yvonne & JB were married but they did have a daughter together.I met Yvonne through Mary Wells in 1974 in LA. I spent a wonderful evening over at Yvonne & Sammy Strain[[her husband & Imperial/Ojay)house. Sammy was working at a Record Distributor[[before he joined the Ojays) I gave Yvonne my 45 of "I Found You", she was so excited.
