George Benson [[with Scherrie Payne & Susaye Greene) "Give Me the Night!"

One my favorite recordings of 1980 was George Benson's "Give Me the Night" Which could have been titled George Benson and the Supremes as he was backed up by Scherrie Payne & Susaye Greene on this Grammy Award winning record! Coincidentally, Scherrie and her group, The FLOs recorded it accompanied by a pro-shot music video [[I have it on tape) in 1994. Listen to how good they all sound together.......

The version Scherrie, Sundray Tucker and Lynda Lawrence did is not on the internet. They did a music video for their version.

Oh no problem. The video of the FLOs singing the song was nice. Scherrie & Susaye's vocals on George Benson's original are also very nice. The song won a Grammy. I don't know if Scherrie & Susaye can take some credit for that.

It is also Scherrie Payne and Susaye Greene on backing vocals. Are you that hard up in your need to disturb a thread?

No, but I am hard up to keep fact from fiction.

How quick you are to leave a snarky response. Even when WRONG.
