This news is indeed shocking and disturbing, especially after Wanda already went through the horror of losing her beloved sister to murder back in the late 1960's. I fear what this might do to her. We also need to keep in mind that Wanda Rogers was married to Bobby Rogers of Smokey's Miracles. Assuming that Bobby is Miracle's dad, Bobby is surely suffering tbe same as Wanda right now. My deepest condolences go out to both of them.

After-thought -- On the album cover of Smokey Robinson & The Miracles' second Motown Christmas album, "The Season For Miracles", it shows The Miracles and their families posed around the tree. I'm wondering if the baby that Wanda is holding might be daughter Miracle?

How tragic and sad. How odd that she was named Miracle but Bobby wasn't her father.

I love that photo on the Christmas album. There are two other children in addition to the infant in Wanda's arms. Wanda is gorgeous as always on that cover.

Bobby Rogers died a few years ago. Also, he was not Miracle's father.

I had no idea that Bobby Rogers was deceased. I knew that Ronnie White had left us, but Bobby's death is a shock. Thanks for the info.

My apologies. The correct story according to the news is that Miracle IS the biological child of Wanda Rodgers but was given up for adoption as a toddler.

My prayers are especially with the children and those who will now care for them.
My respect for Wanda has grown immensely. In an era when so many began and continue to choose to kill their own in the womb, Wanda courageously chose to give Miracle life, an extremely selfless choice then and now.
