"Nightflight" Tue Jan 13, 9P-12M ET: "OVER 5,225,000 SERVED!"

Howdy, Winter Sprites! Hope that you are staying warm and spritely during the seasonal doldrums! Well....what does tonight's show have to do with a McDonald's Hamburger promotion of years gone by? Well....my Youtube identity and channel...mosogotam...reached a wonderful pinnacle toward the end of last year....over 5 Million hits. I am grateful and appreciative to those who have supported me over the years with their kind words of encouragement as I took and still take songs that I feel were much to short and extend them with the original tracks. And some of those kind words came from folks right here on SDF. So, tonight, I'm going to air those extended versions and some new ones I made for this proper occasion....on "Nightflight" on WOMR 92.1 FM Provincetown and WFMR 91.3 FM Orleans and streaming live worldwide in digital stereo at www.womr.org Thanks again! See you on the radio! John

I know what you mean, Glen...You know....I think it was probably recorded around the time of "LILAIIMH"...and those 2 songs could not be on the same LP....tooooooo HOT! People would have worried that the girls were working overtime...if you get my drift...

Aw dang! I'm late and have undoubtedly missed some gems. John, some of your earlier remixes have disappeared from YouTube, one of which is "What's The Use Of Breaking Up". It would be great if you would restore them! Many thanks.

My 2 most favorite non-Motown remixes are "Goldfinger" and "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling".

If you've never given your extended version of Back In My Arms Again a name I nominate calling it the "How Can Mary Tell Me What To Do?" Mix

    Johnny,
Have you heard the Hollywood Bowl "Back in My Arms Again" version with Diana Mary & Cindy featured elsewhere on this forum- 'And oh, she don't know, cause the boy she loves is a romeo' ?

As a matter of fact, Carole....I played the whole multi-artist show, including that for KHJ Appreciation Day...I aired it a year or more ago.

What's so great about those Supremes extended versions is that you are able to sit and really here is some of the intricate goings-on's and within each son including Ross's vocals, the sax riffs and even the background singers it's so nice to be able to luxuriate and listen to all of the elements that make any particular song a good one.
