The more I listen to Cee-Lo Green's latest project "Lady Killer" the more Im diggin it.
His arrangements and delivery go beyond the current retro mimic stuff. Is it me or is
he the real deal?

He seems to have his fans here. I just returned from the record store and gave his CD a listen, he lost me rather quick. Everything was electronic, drum machines, synth, etc. I find his voice to be incredibly out of tune, like 90 percent of the time. Some songs were kind of catchy, but everything seemed so electronic to me, like much of today's music.
And as always, he had that cliche "intro" as all albums have had since about 1990. I don't need an intro, play your freaking music.
I liked Mayer Hawthorne's album much better, but then again, some here didn't like his stuff. To each his own.
Same here. The album started out great, but the production is waaaay overdone.
I have to agree on the production, too much compression wayy hot. Thanks for the reality check. I almost lost it.
