Very recently on Ebay, a negative of Martha & the Vandellas has been listed for sale, none of the ladies look familiar and was wondering if anyone knew who this actual group was. Seller is "fineitemscollectibles".

Interesting find! Clearly not the Vandellas. Judging by the other pictures the seller is offering, I wonder if this isn't more of a "backup" group. There are several of Ray Charles; could this be an incarnation of the Raelettes?
Thanks for posting the link Mary, l had a go but it didn't work!
Nothing about the.photo looks authentic 60s to me. Sequined tops with cotton/polyester slacks? I don't think so. Zippers trimmed in white at the bottom of the slacks to match the tops? I don't think so. It's all too crisp and neat. And those microphones don't look like any I ever saw back then. Looks like a studied attempt that wasn't studied enough.
If this is Oprah emulating the Vandellas, she's getting closer.

Agreed, Meth2. Nothing seems authentic or 'vintage'.
Could simply be a performance of maybe a Martha Reeves & The Vandellas song, but given by three unknown ladies in a 'Tribute to Motown' show...

Thanks for the laugh,Meth2. I needed that!
I looked at the rest of his pics for sale and they looked pretty legit. But, this one certainly doesn't ring true.
Frankly Im quite disappointed in you so called Motown experts. Its Shantel Baker and the bakerettes.
Kaaaaren Ragland and the Rags?
It's definitely authentic, he just got the group wrong.
Here's a negative scan of Maxine Brown that he sold me a while ago.

well, we all know that is not Martha & the Vandellas & as someone pointed out above does not look like a "real" girl group from the 60's....possibly a play about girlgroups?
