    Solange

Despite the infamous elevator video and being known as Beyonce's sister, I heard a lot of Solange's music about a year ago while on a photo shoot and really got into it. The music was raw, creative and a breath of fresh air. I appreciate her artistry and it's a shame that radio hasn't embraced her. She reminds me of a modern day Jody Watley but people have slept on her far too long. Here's one of my favorite tracks from her with LIVE music

I reeaallly like Solange, especially her album Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams. She's even talked about how inspired she is by Motown girl groups. Frankly, I like her music so much more than that of her sister.

I have nothing against her, but I can't get into her. Her earth mother, hipster image is phony.
