Jody Watley's "Real Love" hit number 2 on Billboard's Top 200. This song still rocks and as a photographer, the video is quite pleasing to the eye and Jody was waaay ahead of her time on her fashion game

I find her to be unreasonably attractive, even more these days than she was back then. With that said, I was never a big fan of her solo records. I always felt that they would have been hits even with other voices, so she was not the reason I dug the songs.

I love Jody Watley, Shalamar and solo stuff. Great dancer, fine singer, gorgeous. While I'm not a drum machine/synth guy [[I like real instruments), I loved her 80's dance tunes, lots of fun. Yeah, she could've had some backup singers, some horns, a little less over-the-top on production, more ballads. Nevertheless, she's one of my favorites.
