    Van Cephus-RIP?

Pat Lewis posted RIP on her FB page. I could find no info googling. Anyone know for sure and if so, what happened?

    Kevin,

    How have you been?

Unfortunately, it's true. My friend Gee recently found out that they were related & she announced it on her page. While she didn't give specifics, it's not hard to figure out what happened.

Very recently, he announced on his page that he had been diagnosed as being bipolar. I checked his page after I heard about his passing & as I recall it, he made that announcement at the beginning of this month. If you go to his Facebook page, you can see what he said.

I believe that it was on the 17th, that he wrote something which worried a few people. Rather than write all of it, I'll post a link to his page where you can read it. As it turns out, it was the last entry that he made & what alarmed some was the last sentence that he wrote. People immediately went onto his page expressing worry, trying to call him & those entries are downright haunting. It's like something that you see in a movie. As it turned out, they had reason to worry.

He was found dead the next day.

When you click the link, if you're logged onto Facebook, his page should open. You may have to click on 2014 before it comes up.

He was a keyboard player from Detroit. Bettye said he was one of the "go to" guys there if you needed a keyboard player for a gig. He was very smart and could read and chart.
Juice, I guess you needed to be a friend to view his timeline.
Could you cut and paste it here?

He was also a member of Chapter 8, the group which introduced Anita Baker to the world.

    Imnokid,

It's visible pretty much to everyone. I'm not his Facebook friend & can see it. When you click on the link to his page, look to the right of the page & under "Recent", click on 2014 & the posts will appear.

I f you click on "View Previous Comments" until you get to the first page on March 17th, you'll see all of this ply itself out & while I've heard of things like it happening, I've never seen it with my own eyes.
