    East Coast Family

OK - apparently "latter day Motown" is allowed - soooooo....EAST COAST FAMILY! A mini-giant sized "commercial" of Biv 10 Records - division of Motown from Michael Bivins of Bell Biv Devoe / New Edition. This is not a "where are they now" - because frankly, what happened, happened....used two-three established "safe" acts, Another Bad Creation, MC Brains, and Boyz II Men, perhaps one other's [[Yvette) hit bigger time later, and hey, even another formely established singer / Motowner [[Lady V) in there too. But....may be, "who do you believe from there, of the dozen or so names dumped after that project, deserved a genuine shot from Biv 10 / Motown?" My opinion......may be the greatest blasphemy..."Whytgize". C'mon - even their name, like the seventies "Average White Band" - was a most cleverly contradicting name that went with their sound. And, in that age in the nineties, with "Color Me Badd" and "All-4-One", pop / r&b fusions was accepted by the mainstream public - and their brief moment alone - Whytgize out-smoothened them. They could have had a "Sudden Impact", hahahaha.
