I am so happy for the wonderful year she has had with being featured in the Oscar-nominated documentary "20 Feet From Stardom", and her soon-to-be released digital albums from Universal "Try My Love"[[1978) and "Givin' All My Love"[[1980)!! Tata has had not only a successful solo career, but has been in great demand as a background singer, and she is part of Elton John concert tour "The Diving Board" tour. Tonight, not only Tata will join me by phone, but our favorite Motown guy will be joining us too...Andy Skurow, producer and vault manager at Universal! Mark...thank you so much. But it's never any trouble...ever. When I got this gig 13+ years ago, a main reason why was to give back to the artists that gave me so much over the years by playing their music and keeping their contributions alive. Little did I know when I started that I would have the opportunity to actually speak with them and to give them a forum to talk about their lives and their music. And I could never have done it without a number of people...John Lester, David Babcock [[RIP), Andy Skurow, Dan and Marie Leighton...and many other wonderful folks who supported me and the show allowing me to do this. I've Been Blessed.....
