    "Nightflight" Tue Feb 11, 9P-12M ET: TCMS...the Epic Continues...1967!

Howdy "Nightflight" Listeners!! First of all, I'd like to thank Universal Vault Manager Andy Skurow for a wonderful and clarifying visit last week. And he'll also join us next week for a very special show featuring live on-air one of Motown's grand ladies...I'll tell you who it is tonight during the show. And speaking of tonight's show....we are continuing with another very important year for Motown artists...a year of musical transition...1967! So do join me tonight for all this and more....on "Nightflight"....on WOMR 92.1 FM Provincetown and WFMR 91.3 FM Orleans and we are streaming live worldwide in digital stereo at www.womr.org Thanks!! John PS: A huge thanks to Bobby Gardner [[SDF's OWN rossholloway) for making tonight's show possible by sharing the tracks we'll be airing tonight. Thanks, Bobby....and please be careful with the storm that Georgia is about to get!!!

    But............
In the case of Smokey & Tata, both are known by first names that are not their name of birth.

    And . . .
Their non-given names follow each other alphabetically.

See everyone shortly!Although I've been having a faux pas sort of day, I think it's safe to say that we won't be seeing [[or hearing) Shortly Long as he has no other single released in 1967 other than "Chantilly Lace"/"Your Love Is Amazing" which Johnny played last week/

I have never heard YOUR The Happening - love it! This was, for a year and a half, my fave Supremes record - EVER. Love Child supplanted it and then You Cant Hurry Love, Baby Love, Back In My Arms Again and I Hear A Symphony reclaimed the title - to a tie!

Just HOW naughty, "Midnight' Johnny"????? Gale Storm, I understand - but I draw the line at Nugie! My first" Ricky Nelson.....I was 5 and stared at the TV and ached when he came on. One day, when I was 19, he walked into a restaurant where I was hanging with friends and well, if you saw Lucy Ricardo at The Brown Derby .........it was like that.

John, it's called "atrophy" when one fails to exercise their brain. At my age, I often say "My brain is mush" when I can't remember something that I ought to be able to recall.

I DID embarrass myself and waitresses gave up trying to move me from the middle of the aisle as I stared at him eating his Denny's Deluxe and just walked around me. Finally, I got the nerve to go over to him and his blue eyes and hairy chest and he was SO nice [[not so his manager.)

OK Gale Storm: My Little Margie or Oh, Suzannah! ???

It's a pity you couldn't have sneaked in Laura Lee's "To Win Your Heart" after you played "Festival Time".
