    Singers Frank Sinatra Roy Brown

Now that I'm retired I have been collecting songs by various singers and groups.

the last 2 I did were

    Frank Sinatra

I'm amazed at the early Sinatra from 1939 until 1954,
and I'm talking about the strength of his chops.

    Roy Brown

    Wow what an underappreciated talent.
Also his sidemen were fantastic. You can hear
the riffs that early RnB brought forward
and early Rock N Roll copied.
    The base lines were great

Roy Brown was a huge influence on James Brown who early on sang some of his songs including "Love Don't Love Nobody" and "Good Rockin' Tonight." He was a great singer.

    I love Sinatra too.

Guess we both have quite eclectic tastes!
