Writer friend of mine wants to contact Mickey Stevenson for article:Need contact info

Hi folks. A friend of mine who writes for "Echoes of the Past" magazine, wants to contact Mickey for an interview for a magazine article. I haven't spoken with Mickey since 1984. My friend doesn't want to contact him "cold" [[with no intro). He could just contact him as another Facebook member. But, Mickey might not respond to all such attempted contacts.

Does anyone here still have contact with Mickey, who can also act as a middle man in a connection, so Mickey can know this is a professional contact?
