On Amazon U.K. forthcoming releases is CD The Supremes "The Early Years 1960-1962", contains 30 tracks and a very good cover. Interesting to note that the label it's released on is "Ballard Records".

Thanks Calv1971 for the info
Looks a combination of The primettes and Meet the Supremes + the once bonus cuts that most of have now.

It is nice to see a non-familiar photo used for the cover, even if the music itself isn't rare.
That is a great picture they are using for the CD cover.
I noticed that the song "Too Hot Version 1" is on this CD. To my knowledge this has never been released before on any format. If is has please let me know. Only Version 2 & 4 have been released.
Fantastic cover. Anyone have any idea where that performance is from? It looks like 1965 based off of Flo's wig.
Noel:
Since the CD only has versions 1 & 2, I bet they are actually the two versions that have been previously released.

I would like to get this and yes its nice to see a pic we have not seen. Ballard records....LOL
Did anyone get this? I'm curious about the booklet/liner notes...thanks!

Alright, which one of you crazy kids ensured that only Mary & Florence made the "main" image for this album? LOL!
Ha! And thanks, longtimefan, for the info...
I would say the cover photo is from 1964 and very possibly a Dick Clark tour as they wore those dresses when they toured with him and he had said how much he liked those dresses.
Really?what could they release on The 60s Supremes that we don't already have?
